"The sandwich was good, but I can't overlook the poor customer service. I had been warned about what to expect, but I hoped for a more pleasant experience. Unfortunately, I was extremely disappointed. It took an hour to receive my club sandwich and only one person was bringing out drinks. The cashier mentioned that there were just two staff members working, yet I noticed that other orders were being prepared after mine. My sandwich was only made when the kitchen was less busy. I don’t accept the excuses I was given. It’s disheartening to witness this, whether it happened to me or someone else. I truly wish the owner well because I understand how challenging it can be to run a successful business. Perhaps I’ll consider giving it another try in the future, but this visit was very disappointing!"

My husband and I love being able to take our 4 year old son here. He gets so excited! The atmosphere reminds you of what the olden days must have been like. We absolutely love grabbing a sandwich and some yummy ice cream here. Friendly staff and great service. We love Smithfield. <3

The clientele was quite diverse; I noticed customers ranging from toddlers to a cheerful couple in their mid-80s enjoying their time there. The restaurant also boasted a mix of ethnicities and genders among its patrons, contributing to a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Outside, there were about 20 people soaking up the beautiful 70-degree weather, along with a few dogs enjoying the day alongside their owners. It truly was a lovely experience. Highly recommend!
