Smokey's Tavern - Carta

We really like Smokey's the only issues that we had was my sons steak was fatty and he didn't enjoy it that much and the air conditioner wasn't working properly and it was very warm inside.

Smoked wings 10/10 Ribs would be good with more sauce. They were overcooked and dry. Waffle fries are so good. Calamari was fine. Gluten free pizza!! Crust was fine a little floppy but tasted good.

The place is quite roomy, they have very good wings and ribs. However they are not strong on their steak game. I have ordered medium rare, but got well done instead. But still good place to grab food or drink on the way. Ver carta

This is a fantastic restaurant. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, and the staff are very friendly. The chicken wings with dingo sauce were excellent, and the crispy margherita pizza topped with fresh mozzarella was delicious. Highly recommended!

Friendly and simple place in North Jersey. Eclectic menu, pub/tavern type of fare. Nothing to write home about but if you’re hungry you can get your belly filled and have a cocktail here. I sure wish they used A LOT less plastic, it’s really unnecessary in this day and age. Terrific staff.

We visited the restaurant on Christmas Eve. It was quite crowded, but the seating was spaced out, which made for a comfortable experience. Overall, it was a lovely evening. We really enjoyed the food and Doug's service was excellent. The pizza was probably our least favorite dish, but the wings were large and tasty. Overall, it was a great dining experience. Ver carta

Smokey 's is a great choice because there is something for everyone on the menu. From burgers to personal pizzas (made fresh, thin crust and creative), to pasta, to upscale dishes, there is a huge range of options. Plus, there are booths for that cozy diner feel and a bright garden-type room for larger groups. It fits the bill for many. It is NOT fast food, which was nice. Instead, Smokey 's offers a separate take-out counter area.

This was the first time at Smokey’s Tavern with the new owners. The hamburger was to die for and the roasted Brussels sprouts came with it. I also got their salad to take home and it had apple cider vinaigrette on it. We also got pizza which is a flat bread pizza. Everything was delicious I recommend you go there with the kids to enjoy a fun atmosphere. The brick oven cook came over and asked how everything was and I gave him a thumbs up.

I hadn't visited the restaurant in two years because the food was unsatisfactory and honestly quite terrible. However, I decided to check it out again to see if a new chef had taken over. I approached my meal with some hesitation tonight, but I'm glad I did! The food was flavorful and fresh. The new chef really understands the local tastes and is open to customizing the menu based on our requests. I'm definitely coming back! I encourage everyone to give it another try! Ver carta
