I enjoyed every item on my plate—crab cakes, collard greens, mac and cheese, and cornbread. Everything was absolutely delicious!

The food was seasoned well. Reminded me of down home southern food fixins'. The sides were decadent and delectable. I ordered crab cakes fries whitings/french fries and sides. The collards, yams and coconut rice did not disappoint. If you're wondering about the speciality juices, there're definitely worth the trip! However, try to call in advance for your order. So, you don't have to wait long. The food is delicious!

Food was not enjoyable. Could have been an off day but I was disappointed after reading so many good reviews about this place. Rasta pasta with shrimp was too spicy to enjoy. Catfish was overly breaded and I had crumbled coarse cornmeal all over my table. Yams had a weird tangy taste and the Mac and cheese was salty like it was from a box. I was hoping for a good meal and received less than. I gave an extra star cause the food did come hot. I will wait a while but I'm not confident in them enough to try them again right away.

It's also a great spot for an affordable lunch, thanks to Sonia's daily lunch specials featuring those tasty tenders. Being a seafood lover, I couldn't resist trying their fish as well. (Pro tip: Fridays feature $6 fish sandwiches!) Their secret frying method delivered a dish that was not only flavorful but also light, making each bite a delight. I highly recommend giving it a try. To wash it all down, I enjoyed one of Sonia’s freshly made juices—so refreshing! I had the “What’s Up Doc” juice, which combines apple, carrots, ginger, and celery. It's worth stopping by just for the juice alone. Thank you, Sonia's, for an amazing first experience! I will definitely be returning!

We live in Canarsie enough of that.... called my order in and we was on out way. Very nice customer service. Nice place as well. Noooooowwww this platter was really everything I expected it to be. Sonia’s Crab and Finn BK passed the test. They are officially approved by me the @chickentendercritic. The tenders were cooked to perfection. Crispy and crunchy on the outside. Soft and juicy on the inside. Paired with Sonia’s honey bbq, they were out of this world. I am typically a honey mustard guy, but the honey bbq was a close match in deliciousness. It’s a perfect spot for an affordable lunch because the tenders are part of Sonia’s daily lunch specials. I was walking down the street with a few coworkers for lunch about 2 weeks ago. Although, the initial plan was to eat elsewhere, we spotted this and decided to order from here. One coworker had the Salmon, Macaroni and Cheese and Yams. She said it was good and would definitely return. I had the Rasta Pasta with Chicken, which was made fresh and didn’t disappoint at all. The customer service here was great! We got the fried whiting sandwich, fries, strawberry lemonade, cornbread. I really want to see this place win, I'm hoping this feedback can help. Strawberry Lemonade: 3/10. This was supposed to be homemade, but it tasted like a bad lemonade mix with real lemons added. The cloying at the back of my throat from the low quality sugar meant I could only take a few sips before throwing the rest away. Fish Sandwich: 7/10. This sandwich has several components that require a breakdown. Tasty overall but could use work that could turn this into a great sandwich.
