"We dined here for the first time to celebrate my husband’s birthday during happy hour The service was great. I believe our server’s name was Margarita. She made an effort to treat our old son special. The food came out quickly after each round of placing an order. The menu items sounded enticing but every dish turned out to be overly salty and some were overly sweet. I’d recommend this place if you like the night club/bar vibe and don’t expect too much from the food."

"We sat chefs table and indulged in an all time unforgettable meal before I lose my taste due to chemo for breast cancer. Our meal was thoughtfully selected by Chef Amarr complete with wine pairings was an absolute dream come true for us both. Every bite was divine. The open kitchen was buzzing, the waitstaff was attentive and playful, the bartender even made me a custom drink that blended my love of dirty martinis and refreshing cucumber lemon margaritas. I was holding back tears all night as my cup flowed over. Thank you Amarr Vincente for making us feel like family for orchestrating this beautiful moment to celebrate life. We will be back to celebrate my recovery soon!"

"We came to Celebrate our 38th Anniversary. We made reservations on a whim after looking up what we’re the best places in Laguna to eat dinner! It didn’t disappoint! Wow first we had reservations for 6:45 but were able to be seated earlier. Waiter was on top of stuff! Wait staff kept water glass filled with out even asking! Food was so wonderful ! My hubby had lamp chops, I had the bone in filet mignon, shared a salad, and fingerling potatoes and we were in heaven. The beer was even very tasty! He even brought an anniversary flan for our celebration! Such a wonderful celebration! We would so go back to their restaurant in a heartbeat! Thanks for making our time so wonderful!"

"I'm so so so happy that Laguna has a new sushi spot. I was sad that San Shi Go and 243 Sushi Laguna closed. Seabutter is a solid addition. The sushi is so fresh and the flavors are really delicious. We always order the Sunset roll, the Salmon Supreme, the Miss Salmon, the Crispy Albacore and the Yellowtail and Spicy Tun crispy rice. Hot house sake and Fried Green Tea ice cream with chocolate drizzle (good but would love crisper and warm tempura instead of cold) Honestly, everything is delicious! If I were to pick just one item. to get it would be The Sunset. I also love the 2 pc sushi the Yellowtail Belly is wonderful and Fatty Toro. The kids get Seabutter's version of a California Roll made with blue crab not imitation crab. They love it. They also love the Miss Salmon, the Beef Gyoza and the Garlic Edamame. We have tried the Hye, the Shiso Special, Yellowtail Scallion and the Tuna Explosion too! Love the fresh wasabi! Staff is great. The bus boys are really efficient, observant and kept out waters filled."

"Sapphire has got a great location in Laguna Beach. They are located on PCH, directly across from the beach and have dedicated parking in the garage located conveniently behind the restaurant (validation required). We've eaten here many times and the food is always excellent and the staff is friendly. Tonight it seemed like they were a little short staffed so our server was trying his best to accommodate all his guests. But I give an A+ to Pedro and the Manager who seem to be working with a very difficult customer/table. Even with that noise in the background Pedro was still all smiles and doing his best to provide excellent service. Thank you Pedro for also making a great wine recommendation to accompany my dinner. If you haven't tried this spot, I highly recommend! They've got a really cute outdoor patio that faces the PCH with really nice heaters so that you can dine outside all year round."
