Spasso Minnetonka - Carta

Great place for a date night! Food was delicious, service was friendly, the vibe of the restaurant was lovely and welcoming. All the staff we encountered were great and made our 1st visit wonderful. We will definitely be back!

I had my first experience at Spasso and was completely impressed by the quality of the food! We ordered the steak fondue from the appetizers menu, along with the wings and truffle fries from the happy hour menu. Everything was delicious! The steak fondue, in particular, was amazing—I'll definitely be ordering it again next time!

Our waitress was delightful. She could not have been better. Our food was just okay. There was plenty of it but it was very average. I had cheese ravioli and it was topped with rosemary. I did not taste the ravioli....just the rosemary. It overpowered the dish. Otherwise, the prices were very reasonable. The best part of the evening was our waitress. Ver carta

The food is so good but the service is so bad. We waited 10 minutes to be greeted after being sat at our table. Drinks took another 20 minutes. Food took Forever. Ordering more drinks took About 25 minutes. The server messed up one order and our guest didn't get their food until everyone else was done. There really seems to be no sense of urgency whatsoever.

We get takeout from Spasso and the food is fine, but omg they seem to make mistakes about a third of the time. Sometimes items are missing, sometimes like tonight they drop the bag containing the food (the bag marked “delicate” so it’s a jumble when we open it at home, sometimes they seem to leave out key ingredients. It is literally a mixed bag getting food from Spasso.

We ordered the mushroom, chicken risotto and lasagna. We split them and the kitchen sent them out as split servings which was very nice. Both were excellent. And there was enough to take home for the next meal. The hostesses were very nice and our waiter did a fine job too. Unfortunately the weather has not been conducive to sitting on the patio but that is a great place to eat. Ver carta

This restaurant offers great value for money, with a nice variety of food options that are delicious. We ordered a pear salad, but unfortunately, it didn’t come with the almonds on the side as we had requested. The Bolognese and chicken mushroom risotto were both fantastic. One small issue was that our main courses arrived before we finished our salad, which made us feel a bit rushed. I believe this was due to someone other than our server delivering the dishes, so he wasn't able to manage the timing. Otherwise, the service was excellent. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, typical of a neighborhood eatery where you might run into someone you know.

Our group of four was seated near the kitchen, which was acceptable, but it was quite noisy. Given the heat, dining outside wasn’t an option. Our server, Walker, promptly took our drink orders within the first few minutes. My wife enjoyed her mixed drink. We started with the Ahi Tuna Crisps as an appetizer. While Walker did inquire if that was all we wanted, he didn’t mention that the portion was quite small. It came with six pieces, which were delicious, but I wished we had received a larger serving for the price. The food was very good this time around, flavor was on par and not too salty. This is my fifth time to this restaurant and in the past the service was excellent. However, on Friday, May 17, 2024, the waiter was rather rude when I asked if we could add another item to our order. His response was, Do you see all the other tables I also serve? and walked away even though he was standing right next to my table. After making it obvious that he was very busy, he came by our table 10 minutes later and asked what we wanted to add. I asked to add a Caesar salad to our order and he replied, This is why you flagged me down, to add ONE SALAD (he emphasized) to your order? We had already ordered three ot... Ver carta
