"When there's a long line at Red's, which happens almost all the time, choosing Sprague's is an easy choice. Their prices are very reasonable, and the food meets all expectations. The lobster dinner is an incredible value for what you get! I love sitting on the deck, watching the seagulls over the water. The area also has a charming little stand where you can buy jams and other canned goods, as well as a small building that provides information about local history. The staff is friendly and personable, creating a comfortable and authentically Maine atmosphere. It's a genuine family business that I adore supporting. Just a heads up: they only accept cash or checks, but there's an ATM on-site."

Excellent lobster rolls and chowder! The owner is awesome, too! He gave us great tips on how to get to a beautiful spot with a lighthouse and gorgeous ocean views!

I was so impressed with this place! Friendly service, cute waterfront deck with outdoor seating and top notch lobster rolls. Fresh, reasonably priced seafood. Can't wait to come back!

What amazing service! Amazing atmosphere!! SPECTACULAR FOOD!! A must go to when in Maine. I had the Lobster roll with fries and a side of butter. My cousin had the same and also had the crab fritters. Amazing. All around 10/10 . I WILL BE BACK!

I discovered a fantastic spot in Wiscasset that offers an authentic ambiance. I dined in for lunch, and the price per person was between $10 and $20. The food was outstanding—definitely a 5 out of 5—along with the service and atmosphere, which also received top marks. I highly recommend trying the Fresh Cut French Fries and the Chowder.

This restaurant is an excellent choice for delicious food. I dined in for lunch, and the price per person was around $30 to $50. Both the food and service were outstanding, earning a perfect rating of 5. The atmosphere was also fantastic, rated 5 as well. I highly recommend the Fresh Lobster, Lobster Dinner, Lobster Roll, Crab Roll, and the Chowder.

This was only my second time eating a lobster roll. They put a ton of meat on the roll, which was great. They put butter and mayo on the side. I have decided I like mayo mixed into my lobster for a more creamer texture. I felt that some of the lobster was a little chewy but I am no expert. It was still a nice experience. Also, they only take cash and they have an ATM machine next to the restaurant. Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Ver carta

The lobster roll is simply fantastic. Just a heads-up: the meat is served cold. It's generously stuffed, overflowing from the lightly toasted, buttered bread. There are no additions like lettuce or onions—just bread, succulent lobster, and garlic butter. It’s a true New England delicacy, just as it should be! Compared to your typical tourist traps (like those in Bar Harbor), it’s also a great deal at only $24 (market price as of October 16, 2022). I can only give it 5 stars!

Hopped in line here after 30min waiting for Red's line to move only a couple feet. This was my first lobster roll in Maine and I was surprised the lobster was served cold on warm bread with warm butter on the side. Otherwise, it tasted delicious and the staff was really nice. Minus one star for the long wait (45min to order vs 2.5hrs at Red's) and minus one for the cold lobster when I was expecting warm. If you don't mind either of those this would easily be a 5 star experience. I think Red's lobster rolls are prepared the same way so it that's to your taste and you don't mind the wait this is probably a good substitute.

"The bar, though small with only about six seats, boasted an impressive selection of red wines. My wife chose an excellent Malbec from Argentina for $9 a glass, while I enjoyed a Sam Adams winter lager. The bar was well-stocked with a variety of bourbons, whiskeys, and other spirits. At our reservation time, our server escorted us to our table, which was nicely arranged with about ten tables in the cozy dining area—half for couples and half for groups of four. I estimate there were around 34 guests during the 5:30 seating, and the atmosphere was intimate with a nice noise level, perfect for conversation. It's not the ideal place for large parties of 14 to 20 unless you’ve made special arrangements with the owner or chef. As for the menu, it changes with the seasons and featured dishes perfect for December's chill. I did wish for a warm soup option, but it wasn't available that night. We started with a wonderful arugula salad topped with shaved root vegetables and a tasty dressing, paired with fried calamari on the side. For our main courses, my wife had the yellowfin/ahi tuna priced at $26, while I opted for the rack of lamb at $35, served with potatoes and green peas. Both dishes were cooked to perfection—absolutely delicious! We were glad to have saved room for dessert; we shared a scrumptious carrot coconut cake that was the perfect end to our meal. The total for our dinner came to $160 for two. The only thing this restaurant could use to enhance the experience would be a nice view, perhaps a cozy fireplace for winter or a lovely bay view with sailboats at sunset. Nevertheless, it was a fantastic meal with excellent service in a cozy atmosphere, making it a spot I’d happily return to with family or good friends. Thank you, Little Village Bistro!"
