St. Charles Place Steak House And Banquets

This restaurant has a stunning mix of old-school charm and modern elegance, with delicious food that never fails to impress. I took my sister here for the first time last night to enjoy cocktails, saganaki, and bruschetta, and to show her the unique, artistic decor and romantic atmosphere. We both fell in love with the place.

Love the atmosphere of this place. They do make a killer Singapore Sling. I have brought business associates here and they never disappoints even without a reservation. The steaks are fantastic and so our the meatballs for an appetizer. If your looking ambiance and great food, then This is the place. Also they can accommodate a larger group.

The restaurant is easy to locate and situated in a peaceful area, making parking simple. The food was outstanding and we enjoyed admiring the unique decor. The service could be more attentive, but the highlight was the owner engaging with customers, giving the place a personal touch that is rare to find in restaurants. The prime rib at this restaurant is delicious! However, I was disappointed to see that they have removed many of their tasty burgers from the menu. Whenever my family and I visit on half-off burger Mondays, the service staff always seem to have an attitude. They only seem polite when we order steak or seafood. Despite this, the food is good overall, and the host who greets guests at the door is very friendly and welcoming. The atmosphere of the restaurant is also very cool.

Yesterday, we visited this restaurant with our friends in search of a unique and delicious steakhouse experience. Upon arrival, we were pleasantly surprised by the vintage decor and inviting atmosphere. We ordered drinks that were fresh and generously proportioned. My wife and I decided to share a 22oz prime rib with a side of sautéed spinach. After our first bite, we both knew that this was a perfect prime rib – cooked to perfection and incredibly tender. We enjoyed every bite and even indulged in a dessert – the crème brûlée, which was also amazing. We will definitely be returning to St. Charles Steakhouse in the future. Highly recommended! We came here on our last evening for our friends wedding and we wanted to try a good and unique steakhouse. We didn't know what to expect when we arrived and the decor looks vintage and the atmosphere was inviting. We ordered some drinks and started with oysters. They were really fresh and the size of them were nice. My wife and I opted to share a 22oz prime rib with a side of sauteed spinach. After we took our first bite, we looked at each other and we knew this was a perfect prime rib. It was perfectly cooked and oh so tender. We ate the entire thing and ordered dessert as well. We had the creme brulee and it was also amazing. We will definitely come back to St. Charles Place the next time...

First time St. Charles Steakhouse. My gf and I went for our anniversary and had an amazing time. The ambiance is terrific. A very old school elegant rustic feel to the place. There are unique fixtures and lighting everywhere you look. We had a reservation and were seated promptly. Our server was terrific. She was polite, quick, and attentive. I had a couple of the Ruby Jungle cocktails...superb. Coconut shrimp with the Wasabi raspberry dipping sauce is a must! We had the ribeye for two meal. Comes with the best broccoli soup I've ever had. Salad and veggies were also great, but the sour cream and chive mashed potatoes were AMAZING! Our ribeye came pre-sliced and cooked to a blissful medium....

In order to make a reservation for dinner on Christmas Eve, I had to give a credit card over the phone. Not sure how securely the reservation book is guarded, but coincidentally, the same credit card was used to fraudulently reserve a room at a hotel in Chicago a few weeks later. I very rarely use this credit card and thought it was an especially odd coincidence that the fraud was local. It would be more comforting and secure for guests if the entire reservation process was handled electronically rather than pen and paper. It's 2022! In terms of the restaurant, it's nice.
