I always have a fantastic meal at Starshines. Tonight, the highlights were the lobster bisque and the seared scallops. Their cocktails are both creative and delicious. The staff are consistently welcoming, and Ash makes you feel like you're part of the family.

The service was great and the food was even better. So I tried the maple cranberry French toast and OMG that was so damm good. The truffle fries and the shrimp And grits was bussin! The servers and attendees are very very nice and hospitable. Definitely recommend this place if you are in Henry County

The food is some of the best I’ve had ever, and especially in Henry County. The service is friendly. My only negative point is that I made a reservation for inside but was seated outside and I was not dressed for the cooler weather. They turned a heater on at my request but I still wish I knew I would be outside. Ver carta

I’ve been to this restaurant five times and it is a Hidden jewel. This would be a great restaurant anywhere, but it’s especially nice to have it in McDonough which lacks really good food. He only complaint I have is that they often served the main meal right on top of the appetizer you just ordered. So I just wait till I’m finished or midway through my appetizer to order dinner. But don’t let that discourage you. This is a good place.

Lack luster customer service. Food was great but manager on duty (2/22) was not very willing to accommodate our party of 10. Stated table of 4 was reserved, then stated it was a bar tenders table but stayed vacant during the entirety of our dinner. Server was slow to react. Two appetizers made it to our table before our drinks. Was told there was no meatballs but table next to us was able to place order of meatballs. A place with so much potential has subpar customer service. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone until I can come back and see a shift in service.

The food is exceptional, with clear and direct flavors that shine through each dish, making any minor distractions, like occasional noise from the kitchen, easy to overlook. The service is consistently excellent, from the warm welcome at the hostess stand to the attentive servers and the accommodating manager. The staff is well-informed about the menu and attentive throughout your meal. The atmosphere is lively and stylish, with trendy Edison bulb lighting adding to the charm. However, the bar service could use improvement. During each visit to Starshines, I’ve noticed that food often arrives at the table before the drinks, which is disappointing for those who enjoy sipping cocktails or win... Ver carta
