Unlike many modern places overloaded with trendy toppings and excessive sweetness, their donuts are refreshingly straightforward and delicious. They offer classic favorites like buttermilk bars, old-fashioned rings, crullers, maple long johns, chocolate cake donuts, and, without a doubt, the best apple fritter I’ve ever tasted! I’ve tried searching for the perfect apple fritter everywhere, and my quest has finally come to an end. Although I live over an hour away from this gem, I've already made the drive three times since discovering it in December. These donuts are absolutely worth every mile. The donuts were just okay. They only accept cash, and while there is an ATM available, it charges a fee for use. I suspect that's the reason they only take cash.

This is probably the only donut shop I will go too. Only because their donuts are always made fresh and the service is quick. They have a big selection of donuts and they also offer breakfast sandwiches or croissant. MAKE SURE YOU BRING ONLY CASH THEY DO NOT ACCEPT CARD.

As shown in the photo, the family devoured half the box within the first 10 minutes! Steph's Donut Hole is a fantastic spot for fresh donuts that will brighten your morning. Their maple bar melts in my mouth, so tasty, soft but not so sweet. Their unique recipe for each of their donuts is Amazing. There is no way, we can't stop in our way to San Diego. My family and I are always looking forward to have them. If one, stops earlier in the morning, you will see the small group of people from the community drinking coffee and chatting. Everyone have their own cup hanging from the cup coffee holder.

This is (by far) the best donut shop I have ever been to! I travel around the country and love to try donuts at local shops in cities I visit. None have ever compared to Steph's. The creme puffs are my favorite, and I have made the 25 minute drive from my house many times to have them. If you are traveling, be sure to stop by and grab some super duper affordable snacks that you will not find anywhere else. Be careful, as they can become very addictive. Enjoy!
