"On Saturday, I had lunch at the restaurant, and I was impressed by the friendly and attentive staff. The food arrived promptly and was beautifully presented. The ceviche sampler is a fantastic way to experience the different styles, and I highly recommend it. The ananas thunfisch, lachs anticuchos, and mixto were all delicious and well-balanced in flavor. As we were leaving, we noticed more groups starting to fill the restaurant. I would definitely recommend this place and look forward to returning in the future!"

Very good food. Very lackluster service. This was my third time recently, for brunch. The same. Menu says for brunch): Endless coffee. No one came around with the coffee to ask if I wanted more. Had to ask twice. They got the eggs wrong over easy : nope, got sunny side up). Took the sugar off our table twice: had to ask for it back. The service takes a lot awar from the experience. Don 't know why the management doesn 't do something about it. Its too bad..

"Sweeth Tooth catering has the best po'boy sandwiches, hands down! You can tell they really put a lot of love and thought into their recipe. Their homemade coleslaw is so good, I wish they sold it in bottles! I had my friend try their shrimp po'boy and she was speechless just like I was the first time I had a sandwich from them. The shrimp and ingredients are so fresh and the crunchiness of the fried fish and shrimp is just right and well-seasoned. This spot is definitely my go-to when I want a good meal and the comfort of good southern food in NY. The owner is like a loving uncle, making sure that the orders are just right and offering you the best sweets. He even let me have a piece of marble cake on the house! The hospitality and service of Sweeth Tooth is bar none and I will definitely continue to support them!"

"Out of our five day restaurant experience in NYC this one was by far most memorable. The menu's words don't do the food justice as it's complex flavors and fragrances unfold in your palate. As a family of four we had two sandwiches, pancakes and one soup, as well one desert, coffee and hot chocolate. All items were exceptional in their delivery. The coffee was bold, full bodied but not burned like a French roast, the hot cocoa deserves a visit all on its own, the food was simply great in all aspects, flavor, the satiety it provided, and the feeling of quality. The staff was responsive, friendly, and fun."

"When we called to reserve a table, no one informed us that there was a dining time limit of 1.5 hours. My friend wanted to invite more people to join us for dinner, but I was unsure if everyone would agree to the minimum charge of $60, including taxes and tips. I confirmed a reservation for 7 people during my second call, but ultimately, only 6 of us showed up. The table we were given was quite small, making it uncomfortable for six people, especially with the mandatory minimum spending of $60, as well as a 20% tip. For just two people, the minimum tip is 18%. I was confused about the dining time limit—was it two hours or 1.5? The party area was limited to just the backyard for additional seating. I was with friends who didn’t know the group well, and we arrived early at 3 PM, but we couldn’t wait until 6:30 PM. That’s why we ended up sitting at a separate table for two. Unfortunately, the restaurant didn’t seem to care and couldn’t arrange for us to be seated closer together. We had no choice in the matter. To make matters worse, the female waiter had a poor attitude. It felt like we were dining in a sidewalk market. She questioned another girl who served me ponzu sauce, apparently because I looked impatient when I saw her face. Her attitude only worsened after that. It seems like they need to train their employees better, as they seem unaware of how to provide good service. As for the food, it was just okay, typical of basic Japanese cuisine. There were too many restrictions! Customers are forced to adhere to the restaurant’s rules and limitations. I cannot recommend this place unless someone is specifically looking for a fast-food experience. In short, I don’t think I’ll be returning next time."

"I've been to quite a few omakase spots and Sushi Lin by far is my very top omakase spot. $100 omakase (sushi bar only) is actually pretty decent and average price compare to the amount of food you're getting plus the freshness of the fish. Comes with multiple delicious appetizer (cooked raw) and each piece of sushi that they offered are so unique to taste. It left us smiling after each piece. Their sesame pudding is a must! I would highly recommend it and request to just do the $100 omakase at the bar and it'll be well worth it!"
