"I had high hopes for the Thanksgiving special at this restaurant, but it didn't live up to my expectations. I ordered the 4-pound turkey slices along with two sides and a pecan pie. Unfortunately, the turkey came vacuum-packed and lacked any moisture. The gravy was just a pint of unseasoned flour and water, which nobody enjoyed. I ended up having to make my own gravy. In previous visits, the gravy was flavorful, and the turkey had plenty of juice. Additionally, the pecan pie was a disappointment; it was nothing like a proper pecan pie. The filling consisted mostly of nuts and chocolate, topped with a layer of nuts, rather than the rich, sweet filling I was expecting. Overall, it was a letdown."

We like going here from time to time. The food menu is a little limited, and the kids might not care for it. It's a great little smoke house restaurant though. The drink menu has never let us down though. Make sure to leave room for a mini pie. I suggest trying the pecan pie yum!

Excellent BBQ place. We had the brisket with hash rice and potato salad as a side. Very good. Sauces were tangy and delicious. Also ordered the fried pickles spears (the better way vs. chip cut) which were still crunchy on the inside and tasty. Brittany was very helpful accommodating us with our unusual food allergy, even going as far as bringing out the recipe binder. If we lived here we would definitely come back again and again.
