"First time visitors. We stopped after a long weekend working both days long hours. We wanted a steak meal. That's not what we got, we GOT a absolutely outstanding perfectly prepared meal. Our drinks were made to perfection as well. I recommend the Rum Punch its a well blended triple rum concoction! We ordered Ribeye steaks one paired with garlic mashed potatoes another with custard potatoes both were nicely paired and balanced meal. The presented crackers that were homemade and warm along with rolls and butter very tasty!! After reviewing the drink menu and making selections we ordered our main course. Our drinks were bought timely and enjoyed! Perfectly time dinner arrived and it was mouth watering melt in your mouth steak!! Afterwards we made a selection from the dessert menu to share at home. The portions are generous but not too much. The food is high quailty and we felt reasonable for the $31 price tag for the Ribeye meal. The resturant is well appointed but comfortable and the lake side views are beautiful. You will find the dining area and bar cozy and warm perfect for a dining experience of this caliber. The only negative I would suggest is an update to the signage along US 35. There is alot of wording there and it isn't easy to understand what is at the property. The signage needs to match the high quality of the resturant in my opinion the signage sells it short. We find this resturant by a Google search. We live out of town and have driven past this property for years..we will return and thank you for a wonderful experience"

The staff here is incredibly friendly, and the food is delicious! I highly recommend dining outside to take in the lovely view.

Great place for a night out. This is a beautiful restaurant. The food was amazing and the service was very personable. The complimentary dipping sauces for your steak were very good.

Wonderful atmosphere! Dinner here tonight on our drive home from Philly to Chicago, seated outside with the beautiful view of Pine Lake. What a great find off of 1-80 by searching online from the car!

The food was excellent, and the service was good overall. However, our waitress announced my request for a celebrity limoncello to everyone at the table, but she overlooked one of the most important people sitting with us. Such a shame! Ver carta

The cheese sticks were excellent. Salmon cakes which were an appetizer were excellent too including the ribeye and mushroom. The fries were salty and not that good, so if you are ordering don't get the fried, overall the food was excellent.

My husband and I ate this Tuesday night for the third time. We eat there when we stay at the Blue Herron Inn. The food was amazing. Pig chops, grouper Oscar and filled mushrooms. Sat outside overlooking the lake. Wonderful food and waitress also. Thank you.

Great restaurant! The staff was really friendly, and the drink prices were reasonable. The lamb was absolutely delicious—so tender it practically melted in my mouth! I enjoyed it so much that I returned the next day and ordered the mussels, only to realize I had actually had them on my first visit as well! Haha! Ver carta

Food was fantastic, prepared and seasoned PERFECTLY. We had crab rolls with plum sauce as an appetizer (both not fans of seafood) and was freshly prepared and the flavors were perfect together. I had the ribeye with onion straws, steak was medium rare just as I asked. I’m usually not impressed with steaks but this time I am very glad I got it. Wife had blue beef and one of the best pasta dishes we have had. 100% recommended to anyone

Ate here for the first time tonight and everything was AMAZING! Beautifully decorated with a warm inviting ambiance. We were very pleased with the server, Chris who was very attentive and offered suggestions regarding beverage choice and sauces. I had the twin filet medallions with whisky peppercorn sauce, garlic mashed potatoes, veggies and a salad. My husband had a T-bone, Mac and cheese, veggies and black bean chicken chili. The food was cooked to perfection and was so tasty we had to hold back from licking our plates! Can't wait to come back again and bring friends!
