"6:15 reservation was on time on News Years Eve with a dimly lit, quiet table for 2. Quick greeting of water, drinks, menu specials, and introduction with Cameron. Note: they were out of halibut. Many options on the menu and we decided on the Manhattan clam chowder and a chopped Cesar salad to start. 30 minute wait and never saw Cameron. The avoidance was noticeable. The salad was full of flavor but served at room temperature and a large bowl of tasty chowder but no bread was available this night. I missed it with the chowder! It was a slow start but the main course of scallops was delicious and the pork chop a delight! To full for dessert but offered 3 choices. We will return but go with several small plates to share."

"We got two appetizers including the burrata and I can't remember the other one and my fiance got the chicken parmesan and I got the chicken piccata. The chicken piccata sauce was disappointing disappointing at best it tasted a little like dish detergent and the piece of chicken was pale and under seasoned almost boiled honestly laid within the pasta. Such a shame the desserts were fabulous"

"I made the reservation, almost a week in advance and arrived on time. We had guests from Europe with us, and they were alarmed that we waited almost 45 minutes to be seated. In my reservation, I had requested a table along the window with a view of the ocean. What we got was a table in the corner with a view of the fence. And that was after a 45 minute wait. The server seemed very inexperienced, though she was very nice. She took our order and still we did not. have the tortillas and salsa that is normally brought to the table even before we ordered. She brought those things after we asked, and then said I'll bring you plates, but she never did. Until we had to ask again as the tortillas were cooling. Our guest ordered a beer and she brought it to the wrong table and they refused it and she took it away. We had to ask again for the beer. The most disappointing thing was not only where we were seated, but the fact that we were not able to even eat our complementary tortillas and salsa until an hour after our reservation time. The food we ordered was good, but in general the experience was a negative one."

"A fantastic meal and overall experience. I was seated at the bar, which ended up being very fun. The bartender (young gentleman, can't remember his name) was very skilled and mixing up complex cocktails at a rapid pace and was very entertaining to watch and chat with. He really elevated the entire evening. I started with the Melon and Prosciutto salad which was incredible. Sweet, light, delicate, with some saltiness and savory from the prosciutto and pistachios. Paired with The Escape cocktail, which was tart and flavorful backed by sweetness from the rum and fruit components. Had the New York Steak for my main course. Everything was cooked spectacularly, and everything on the plate was delicious. I will note that it could have used a slight touch less salt, primarily on the meat and broccolini. Thankfully was balanced out by the potatoes and cauliflower. Paired well with a nice red wine. For dessert I had the mascarpone cheesecake. The cheesecake itself was tasty, but almost overshadowed by the phenomenal green apple sorbet. My God it was so delicious, made of blended green apples and you could taste the tartness of the peel and the apple flavor and texture in every bite. Paired with a cinammon apple cocktail no longer on the menu called Sweater Weather. Such an amazing meal and evening, it is absolutely worth a visit. I'll look forward to trying it out some new menu items in the future! "As soon as you sit down, you're welcomed with a basket of freshly baked bread and an amazing bruschetta spread. This traditional Italian gesture speaks volumes about their authenticity. But the real highlight is the pizza: it has the perfect consistency, an ideal amount of cheese and toppings, and a nice thin crust, which might not be the original style but is my personal favorite. The staff is both kind and professional, and the prices are very reasonable considering the quality of the food and service—just $49 for two pizzas and a clam chowder. I guess the bread refill was complimentary! Let's not forget that this is central California. One charming detail I appreciated was the cup of crayons on each table. My mom used to ask for crayons when I was a kid to keep me entertained while waiting for our meals, and here, they’ve already put them out for you. How sweet!"
