This place has been in decline for about a year. Prices up 50%, quality and portions have declined considerably. $15 for a chicken burrito? Go to Chipotle people. The breakfast burritos are a joke now.

I love el metate on chambers location, however this location is not the same, meat is over seasoned but the worst part was my kids getting expired justice with the kids plate they have, one of my kids drank most of it the other one didn’t open it. Smh!!!!! Ver carta

This is one of my favorite spots for tacos and burritos. The food is excellent, and the sauces have just the right amount of spice. I really appreciate the staff as well. Their Al Pastor burrito never fails to satisfy me! I’ll definitely keep coming back!

Generous portion sizes made the burrito feel almost heavy! It was nice to have al pastor in a burrito instead of just tacos. The salsa bar offered a great variety of flavors and levels of heat. Overall, the al pastor was a bit salty, but that didn't stop me from finishing it. I'm glad I gave it a try!

Absolutely delicious! Everything we've had there has been amazing. This was my fourth or fifth visit, and for the first time, I was disappointed. What's up with the nacho cheese? It didn't taste good at all, and why was it on my carne asada fries instead of green chili and melted real cheese? The bean burrito didn’t meet my expectations either. We had high hopes. Don 't pay extra for the quac unless you 're good with a cup of onions tossed in a watered-down avocado salsa. The limeade augafresca was delicious. Satisfied with the quality of the chicken and beef. Unfortunately however, if you order the carne asada fries, even the bigger order that supposedly feeds 2 to 3 they really only give you a ton of fries(McDonald 's style) with a sprinkle of carne asada. We also tried the chicken flautas. While they flautas themselves were delicious, they really short you on the toppings *sourcream, cotija*but over load it with the cabbage so it appears like a lot when it 's not. We arrived in for the first time to order some To-Go food. Upon walking in, we first noticed how much seating they have for both large and small groups. I wouldn’t say this is a go to first date location but definitely a spot to become a regular at.We ordered pollo and carne asada tacos and a asada burrito. Both were absolutely wonderful, great seasoning and overall exactly what we were looking for. Also ordered pollo flauta’s which were wonderful but the toppings did make them a bit soggy. **Parking:** We had to rely on street parking, and even though we arrived early in the morning, we had to circle the block a few times before we found a spot. Nothing is more frustrating than driving somewhere only to struggle with parking, but fortunately, we eventually found a space, and it was worth it! **Ambiance:** I didn’t take any photos, but the ambiance was pleasant. The layout was open, with a decent amount of seating and some greenery. The big windows at the entrance let in plenty of natural light.
