"With the order, you can choose 2 toppings and 1 drizzle. I had my heart set on an ube/matcha swirl, but I learned that the only swirl options were ube/black sesame or matcha/vanilla, along with the flavors of the day. I opted for the matcha/vanilla swirl instead. Although the Cone Appetit cup looked small, it ended up being quite satisfying once filled generously with soft serve. For my toppings, I selected graham crackers and almonds, and I drizzled it with condensed milk. The soft serve had the perfect consistency and wasn’t overly sweet, which I appreciated. The service was great; the cashier was friendly and even let me sample some of the soft serve flavors. Cone Appetit is open from Thursday to Sunday, and there’s plenty of parking in a shared private lot. The shop is conveniently located west of 7 Eleven. This place was exactly what I needed! Their cold soft serve hit the spot and left me feeling very happy once I finished my delightful treat. I can't wait to return and maybe try one of their refreshing boba drinks too!"

"This evening, on 3/13/22, I as well as a family member had a bad service experience at La Travolta in Artesia. We had called at about 7:30 pm to see if they were still taking in customers and we were told by the young lady, whom, when we arrived was actually the hostess, that they were until 8:30 pm. We arrived at 8:00 pm and to our surprised the hostess indicated they were not taking in any more customers and that the tables were full. Totally a contrary of what she informed us over the phone. So we decided to order to go and spent about $150.00. The minute we walked out, two young ladies came in and to our total shocked...because it was obvious they were toldo to wait outside as we were also waiting for our to go meal. It wasn't long before two customers left, the hostess cleaned the table and sat the two young ladies that actually came AFTER us. It appears the hostess picks and chooses whom to let in and sit at a table since I feel we should have been given the unoccupied table as we arrived before the young two ladies that were sited. We did complain, the hosted attempted to defend her position by saying there was miscommunication which was a totaled lie. Actually what was expressed was in simple English on our part but, of course, she needed to defend the wrong she committed. I can honestly say I will not be returning to this place as well as my family since it was obvious what was done to us."

"The food was excellent, but the service when picking up my order was lacking. Fortunately, after I got to my car, I had a nagging feeling that something wasn’t right. I checked my bag and discovered that a part of my order was missing. I suggest implementing a process on the takeout side where staff checks the contents of the bag before handing it to the customer. This way, customers can ensure their order is correct before leaving, rather than finding out later that something is missing. The food was delicious, and parking was a breeze. They just need a bit more refinement when it comes to customer service."

"My wife and I were in town from NY. Had a craving for Italian food. We happened upon this place. It is small and brings back many memories of Italian restaurants of old. We were greeted quickly and seated wherever we wanted. The young man that waited on us was attentive and quick with a smile. The food linguine and clams with shrimp for me and angel hair Sicilian for my wife was hot and and delicious. Sauce was home made perfection. We also had a small caesar salad first time in a long time I had a traditional homemade Caesar dressing. We finished our outing by grabbing a tiramisu to go. Fantastic and also homemade. From the people running this little gem to the quaint old-school Italian decor to the truly fantastic food!!!! I truly recommend you try this restaurant."

"I was disappointed to find that this restaurant does not offer any vegan alternatives, such as coconut cream instead of cow's milk cream, to make a vegan curry. Instead of accommodating vegan requests, they insist on offering options that are already vegan and refuse to make any modifications. I have been to Indian restaurants that are able to substitute coconut cream or other vegan alternatives, allowing customers to order any dish on the menu. The fact that this restaurant is unable to do so is quite surprising. They should consider hiring a new chef who is more accommodating to dietary restrictions and custom orders. For example, when I suggested they could simply omit the cream from a dish if they did not have a vegan substitute, they still refused. This is concerning, as they should be able to accommodate customers with allergies or dietary preferences. Until they become more customer-friendly in terms of nutrition and lifestyle choices, they do not deserve a positive review."
