"I can't stop thinking about the meal I had earlier today. I have to review it. It was mind-bendingly good.I hate to be one of -those- guys, but, I've been to Uzbekistan, mainly to hunt down one of my favorite cuisines. This meal differentiated itself from other authentic food experiences in big diverse cities in that the main dish I ordered, the plov, was at least as good, if not possibly even better than that which I had in Samarkand. It was so balanced, sweet carrots tender meat perfectly toothsome chickpeas and meat grease-soaked grains of delicious rice cooked to the right amount of doneness. There was even a nice whole chile in there for optional spice if you squeeze it with a spoon. So fun.The samsas were crisp and juicy and burning hot, just like the ones I had overseas. Those however had a slight edge over the ones I ate here because they were cooked outside over a fire in an old tandoor. But unlike other samsas I've had in Brooklyn and Queens, these were quite evocative of the real thing. Yum."

A great place to experience authentic Uzbek cuisine. Despite some language barriers people are very warm and friendly

The food is delicious and halal, but be aware that they add hidden fees, taxes, and service charges when it’s time to pay. Ver carta

I came from Utah to try their Samsa(Samoosa). That is the best in US. They have a soup Mastawa, mmmmm. Kebabs are juicy and feels as I am in Uzbekistan. Ma shaa AllahFood: 5/5

I ordered Uzbek pulau twice in one week, and both times the rice was very dry and hard. The meat was tough and difficult to chew. I spoke with Brother Abdullah, and he assured me he would ensure the rice was cooked properly, but the issue persisted. Additionally, I felt that I was overcharged.

"When we called to reserve a table, no one informed us that there was a dining time limit of 1.5 hours. My friend wanted to invite more people to join us for dinner, but I was unsure if everyone would agree to the minimum charge of $60, including taxes and tips. I confirmed a reservation for 7 people during my second call, but ultimately, only 6 of us showed up. The table we were given was quite small, making it uncomfortable for six people, especially with the mandatory minimum spending of $60, as well as a 20% tip. For just two people, the minimum tip is 18%. I was confused about the dining time limit—was it two hours or 1.5? The party area was limited to just the backyard for additional seating. I was with friends who didn’t know the group well, and we arrived early at 3 PM, but we couldn’t wait until 6:30 PM. That’s why we ended up sitting at a separate table for two. Unfortunately, the restaurant didn’t seem to care and couldn’t arrange for us to be seated closer together. We had no choice in the matter. To make matters worse, the female waiter had a poor attitude. It felt like we were dining in a sidewalk market. She questioned another girl who served me ponzu sauce, apparently because I looked impatient when I saw her face. Her attitude only worsened after that. It seems like they need to train their employees better, as they seem unaware of how to provide good service. As for the food, it was just okay, typical of basic Japanese cuisine. There were too many restrictions! Customers are forced to adhere to the restaurant’s rules and limitations. I cannot recommend this place unless someone is specifically looking for a fast-food experience. In short, I don’t think I’ll be returning next time."
