The take-out food here is incredible. In the picture, you can see the mapo tofu rice box, which includes a fried egg, pickled radish, and cabbage.

It's decent, but not worth the outrageous price. I recall when this restaurant offered better food at a lower cost. Overall, I would rate it as just okay.

The soup dumplings I got were delicious. You also have a very good milk tea! There are a lot of options on the menu to find something for dinner or a snack! Ver carta

Mini Buns are to die, sweet and soft and fresh. Not many dessert options and I did not have the food, but if you are in the mood for a good egg custard mini rolls, they are 3 for $3!

I drove 30 minutes from Northport to try this restaurant, and it was absolutely worth it! The cozy and intimate atmosphere pairs perfectly with their delicious soup dumplings and pork buns!

Came here on a really cold day and got some really hot soup. Very good sliced beef spicy sour soup with clear noodles. The restaurant is pretty small and a little crowded. It's also the kind of place that you need to know about the food before you go or you'll be lost. If you know authentic dimsum and crave it, this is a good find for being way out in Suffolk. The chicken legs over rice (豉油鸡腿饭) were surprisingly unappealing in both appearance and flavor. The pork dumplings (10pc猪肉水饺) were overcooked, and the dipping sauce was dominated by a strong vinegar taste, lacking any other flavor. The roasted pork buns (3pc广式叉烧包) were mostly dough with just a teaspoon of sauce and very little pork filling. The only highlight of my meal was the cucumber salad in garlic sauce (拍黄瓜), which was quite enjoyable.

The owner of this restaurant is incredibly charming and knowledgeable. I've always appreciated the authenticity of Taos, but today was exceptional. We ordered Dan Dan noodles and cold sesame noodles, which weren't on the menu, but he prepared a version with tahini and cucumber that was delicious and refreshing. The Dan Dan noodles were perfectly garlicky, just as I had hoped. My friend couldn't stop raving about her beef cake. The highlight? The noodles are hand-pulled and cut. At $24, it felt like a true delicacy. Highly recommended!

Tried Tao’s for the first time today on the recommendation of a friend and it did not disappoint! A friend and I were really in the mood for Authentic dumplings so we ordered the chicken dumplings, Shrimp shumai, and Crystal Shrimp dumplings. All three were really good and you can tell they are all homemade. The dumpling sauce was perfect and the chili oil was some of the best chili oil I've ever had. I can’t wait to go back soon and try the roasted Duck, it looks amazing on the menu! I definitely recommend this place for authentic well seasoned Dumplings. Ver carta
