Tavern Pizza On Main

Amanda our waitress at the Alburtis Tavern, was very good. She was very attentive and helpful, she made our evening dinner very nice. The Alburtis Tavern has very good food. Lots lots of selections, good variety

Went with a party of six. All meals were good except for the stuffed flounder which spent way too much time in the broiler. I was shocked that they brought this dish to me in that burnt condition. Margarita also tasted weird.

Excellent service. Every item came out timely in sequence. Food done just right. My flounder stuffed with crab was outstanding. The lobster bisque was superb. The view was nice outdoors with the sun setting and trains going by. Ver carta

Although our server was gracious and very skilled it was hard for her to keep explaining the 50 Minute wait for our order of two cheesesteaks w potato chips. She was gracious enough to offer complimentary desert with was a nice gesture. The food, when it finally arrived was quite good. Portions are large and a good value.

I ordered from them since i moved to this neighborhood never had issue with their pizza til now i order a pie for my kids extra cheese which i had order in the pass and was never an issue but for some reason the first pie they send was horrible you pick up the pizza they cheese melted right off the bread? yea i know it extra cheese but never an issues before) called and complain got another one which was worse then i call and he was really arguing back with me? real

I have ordered many times before and have loved it. We ordered today and received very tough pizza that you couldn?t chew same with the garlic knots and wings that we very dry. We also got corn nuggets and they were good. I called the restaurant and was told them. They said the pizzas wasn?t that old everything was cooked the same way they always do and hung up. I called back and said I thought I got disconnected and they said no that the food is always the same and hung Ver carta

They took us in at the reservations time. That’s where the positive ends. I ordered the special. It was prime rib. I have never in my life seen a prime rib with soooo much fat on it. It was terrible. The special advertised a 12oz prime rib. With the fat cut off it couldn’t of been more then 5oz. I have to be honest. We went there because friends from N.C. came up and wanted to go there. I avoid the alburtis tavern at all cost. I have never gone there and received a good meal. EVER. If your thinking of going there. Don’t. Go to the hometown diner it’s much better. And that’s sad.

Our waitress never told us the specials-just came over and asked for a drink order. We waited a long time to get our drinks and she never came to check on us while we waited. Then after they came out and we waited for our food she nvr came back to check to see if we wanted more drinks-we had to call her over. We also waited a long time to get our food and the appetizer came out 1 minute before our meals. Food was good and reasonably priced. Its a shame, I really do like it here -the menu is great and its a cool place but it seems there is always a huge party in the back that impacts other diners waiting for their food.

Haven’t been here in years. Decided to try for a mini family reunion. Loved using Open Table for reservations. The host was not friendly nor welcoming. We had a larger party and arrived in multiple cars. Our car was first. The entrance was crowded. They would not seat us until our entire party arrived. Normally I understand that, but with one of us over 75 and another over 85, she should have made an exception. The menu was huge and ranged from appetizers to sandwiches to entrees. The food quality varied by entree. The crab stuffed pretzel was tasty. The veal Oscar was good, but the asparagus was burned. The Caesar salad was fresh and tasty. Our server was very good.
