"We were late due to traffic, informed them by phone, and they were great about it. Seated us when our entire party arrived and the service and food was excellent as always. Had two birthdays to celebrate and they did a great job of making everyone feel special. Always a highlight of our birthday weekend celebration, and have been having our birthday brunch here for years"

"This restaurant is a fantastic spot for enjoying some delicious fried seafood after a day of hiking in the Malibu mountains. The atmosphere is relaxed, with ocean views, although it can be a bit breezy. The outdoor seating has wind-blocking panels, so you can enjoy your meal without too much disturbance. I always order the seafood combination with a strawberry or original lemonade, which is always fresh and delicious. They offer a variety of sauces and accommodated my requests. The crab shrimp salad is a favorite of mine, with a generous amount of dungeness crab. Service is quick, but there can be a wait of up to 20-30 minutes. Despite not liking waiting in lines, I am willing to wait for this place after a hike in Malibu. The seafood combo is a must-try for fried food and seafood lovers, especially if you enjoy calamari. Parking is available on the street and is usually easy to find, although you may have to walk a bit during peak times."

"The prices at this restaurant were significantly higher than what was advertised online. Paying $30 for a small pizza felt like a rip-off. The food was extremely overpriced and of poor quality, not worth even the online price. The pizza seemed like it was not freshly made and appeared to be frozen and reheated. The employees seemed annoyed and rushed, despite the restaurant being nearly empty. Overall, there was nothing positive about the experience and I do not plan on returning. "Overall really beautiful experience with the wafting smell of baked bread everywhere. There were some pastries and breakfast, but the price was a bit high. Coffee was great and the Almond Croissant was especially pleasant. Very cute branch that is perfect for a brunch date with plenty of outdoor seats. However, the food service time was somewhat unpleasant as a friend and I ordered together the same food, but we were served 10 minutes apart."

"I have been here many times for breakfast and lunch this was my first time for dinner. The food was mediocre and the servers seemed to be unhappy and it showed. I overheard one server telling a food runner that the guests who were asking g for water aren’t her problem as that isn’t her table. I asked my food runner a question and was told that’s not my department. If it wasn’t for the location I wouldn’t ever go back. Maybe it’s only good for breakfast or lunch. Just made me sad."
