"I've been going to Ted's Fish Fry for over 30 years, and I've never been disappointed! I always order the fish with tartar sauce because, guess what? It's a "Fischer-Flügel" establishment, and that's what they're famous for, which has helped them grow over the years! The simple, delicious fish fry tastes just as amazing as it did during my very first visit over three decades ago! I make sure to stop by whenever I'm in the area!"

Old school interior/ambiance that I like. A bit pricey for fish fry. Good tartar sauce. The chili sauce is Weber's Picalily sauce.

I remember when the fish was .15 cents and .25 cents. My husband and I still enjoy their fish but some of them are to small for the price. Back then they were big. Ver carta

The menu is straightforward, but the food is fantastic. The service is quick and friendly. You’re in for a treat. The staff at the counter is both approachable and well-informed. This place is a must-visit!

Very 'BESTEST ' Fish Fry I have ever eaten. Wish they had a place in southern NJ in the Cape May area. Whenever my Family and myself are in the Tri city area visiting Ted 's Fish Fry is a 1st and forever stop. Great Food plus service to match No better Fish Fry than a TED 'S !!!

I've never seen fish roasts of this magnificent size and length... The fish was so soft and fresh, only mouthful of perfectly fried fish with zero concern to get a bone. And her Clam Chowder was so creamy and decadent, one of the best I ever had. If you're looking for a good time, Ted is your guy! Ver carta

Absolutely amazing! The dining experience is always exceptional, and the chefs take great pride in their work. I ordered a shell roll, and the chef personally came out to offer me a refund because he wasn't satisfied with its appearance. It was such a kind and thoughtful gesture, but the food was still fantastic!

I took my kids to this restaurant after visiting Ted's as a child myself. My parents grew up in Troy, so this place holds some nostalgia for us. The food is excellent and has remained consistent over the years. We visited the Wolf Road location, which has a really nice interior. I’ll admit that walking into a modern and stylish Ted's was a surprise, but I understand the need to adapt with the times.

"I had always wanted to try this place but everytime I went they were sold out. Finally I was able to go there when they had some left and I was so excited! I purchased 3 different slices. But after the first bite, I was so disappointed. I thought maybe it was just the one slice but I tried the two other kinds and they were all just so meh. I definitely won't be back, I feel really let down since I was expecting so much more due to all the great things I've heard"

"We always look forward to our visits to Albany because we can eat at dp brasserie. We enjoy sitting at the bar and the bartender, Raine, is great. She is attentive, knowledgeable and makes a tasty adult beverage. The food is delicious too! So many tempting menu items make it a challenge to decide what to have. We enjoy the stir fried noodle, the chicken Gabriel and the tallegio toasts."

"We had requested the rounded corner booth in the main dining room and arrived 20 minutes early, planning to enjoy a cocktail at the bar. But instead, we were seated at a booth right next to our preferred one. A couple finished their meal shortly after we sat down, well before our 6:30 reservation. We ordered a Beefeater gin and tonic and a very dry Beefeater martini. Both drinks had an unusual, perfume-like scent that was quite off-putting. My wife sent her drink back, and I decided to switch to a Bombay martini, but the same strange floral fragrance persisted. I regularly enjoy Beefeater and Bombay dry martinis and have never experienced this odd aftertaste before. For my main course, the Duck and Porcini confit ragu had hardly any duck in it. There were only a few shreds of duck meat hidden in the tagliatelle, but no substantial pieces. My wife’s Pesto and Shrimp dish arrived swimming in a broth. While this might be a traditional way to serve it, there was no mention of broth on the menu. She had expected the pesto to be coated on the pasta and oily, rather than soupy. As much as we have loved Capriccio over the past three decades, this experience was disappointing. We didn't even stay for dessert. We'll certainly return, but I hope to avoid writing another negative review. I usually don’t share my thoughts unless absolutely necessary, but I felt compelled to do so this time."

"I visited the restaurant on Saturday night, November 4, around 7:30, with a friend for the first time. Wow, we absolutely loved it! The staff was fantastic and knowledgeable. One of the employees even took the time to share some fascinating history about the place. I mentioned that the building used to be a flower shop for many years, which was a fun revelation. We were pleasantly surprised to discover they had live music! The band, Emerald Dawn, was incredible! Before we knew it, the place was packed, and we ended up staying for two and a half hours. We enjoyed ice cream followed by coffee. It was such great entertainment and a delightful surprise! Thank you!"

"Came here for dinner and enjoyed the sashimi deluxe (I think) and my boyfriend ordered the spicy beef ramen. The sashimi was pretty fresh and there was one white fish that they wrapped around shiso which I thought was a nice touch since I love shiso. The ramen was really very good, but they should consider renaming it, because it 's not what we expected at all. When you see beef ramen on the menu at a sushi/Japanese-ish restaurant, you aren 't expecting clearly Chinese style noodle soup with mala flavoring, which is what we got. It 's more like a beef Mala noodle soup, which was really good, but that 's because we happen to like that too. Service was attentive and started us with ice water as soon as we sat down. They did say it was $6 extra to switch out tuna in the sashimi combo for something else since we don 't really like tuna, which was ridiculous, but I think there was some sort of miscommunication going on. Some of the special rolls looked a little overpriced but interesting. 3.5 stars and I would come back to try other things for sure"
