"This was my first time ordering from this restaurant, and I was pleasantly surprised! The place is friendly, cozy, and has a nice ambiance. The food was absolutely delicious. We ordered a large cheese pizza, mozzarella sticks, jalapeño poppers, a cheeseburger dinner, and the fisherman’s plate. The cheeseburger was quite substantial and filled my son up quickly. The jalapeño poppers and mozzarella sticks were tasty as well. The cheese pizza was fantastic! As for the fisherman’s plate, it was also delectable, featuring jumbo shrimp and scallops that were a bit on the smaller side but still enjoyable, while the fish portion was generous. Overall, I had a great experience! 6/16/24"

Subs and sammies are amazing. Super beef... need a fork and knife it's soo big! I got a Veggie sub and all the stuffs was fresh! Nice little spot to sit and eat AC is awesome. Table service I did not expect. Try it!

If you're looking for great roast beef in the area of this is the place they're super tangy barbecue sauce lights up your taste buds. Small seating area. Nothing special but the food speaks for itself. Try their Pizza with a sweet sauce. Not bad. But it really is the roast beef that will blow your mind! Ver carta

This might be the best Super 3-Way I've had on this trip. The griddled onion bun was topped with an impressive amount of filling. The beef was fresh, warm, and perfectly pink. This sandwich had more James River BBQ than any of the others I've tried so far, and the mayo ratio was spot on. It was a hearty sandwich, definitely worth the hour-long drive to get here.

Flew into from Texas and happened upon Tessi's. May have been an intervention from God! The 3 way is amazing! Perfectly stacked, sliced beef balanced with a tangy sauce and generous amout of mayo. Also, I ordered the steak bomb calzone. Seriously, wishing my son was here to help destroy this massive thing! Stuffed with mushrooms, beef, bell peppers, cheese, and onions, oh my! Good thing our hotel has a pool. Some laps may be in order, but so freakin worth it!
