The At Beaver Island Lodge

The Beaver Island Lodge was wonderful! The sunset view of Lake Michigan was breathtaking!! The managers TJ and Han were wonderful! We had the best time ever! The room was excellent!! We ate at the restaurant it was really good!!! Thank you for a great vacation!!!

The food has always been exceptional for us in 2023, 2022 and 2015 and 2019. This year we ate there three times in 2023 and we had a lovely scallop dish on risotto, poached lobster over pasta and once we had a delicious rack of lamb. The salads and asparagus were scrumptious. And the view...amazing.

I had a fantastic dinner with my family this evening. This restaurant has always been great, but I’ve noticed a significant improvement in the quality of the food and the attention to detail in the presentation during my last few visits. Amazing dinner, great service, and a view of the lake and sunset. The food here was so good. We had a party of 8, and everyone got something different. Everyone loved the food. Some people reviewed that they thought the atmosphere needed a refresh. Get over yourself, you're on Beaver Island. It was fantastic in every way

The restaurant has a lovely ambiance and our meal was absolutely delicious. It's a great place for special occasions or celebrations, but even if you're just looking for a good meal beyond burgers or sandwiches, this is the spot. We came in dressed casually and felt completely comfortable. The service was exceptional, and our waitress went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect!

First time visiting the Sunset Restaurant at Beaver Island Lodge. The food was fantastic. We started with the oysters and stuffed shrimp small plates. Both were delicious. For my entrée, I went with the white fish, which I really enjoyed. We were seated on the patio, which offered a stunning view. The waitstaff was friendly and very attentive. Very nice setting and welcoming staff. The lake view rooms provide a very nice ambiance and sunset view of amazing sunsets. The restaurant and chef are top notch with wonderful dishes. This quaint setting on an island that is beautiful and tranquil is well with a visit if you wish to experience a setting away from the typical hustle of many vacation areas. Beaver Island Lodge is not a five star big city lodge but it provides the charm you’d expect in this great setting. I don’t think you’ll be disappointed if you love the outdoors and an island feel.

Love this spot- great view, friendly servers, great food. We enjoyed dinner 3 nights in a row, and still had more items that we would have liked to try. We shared entrees, so we could enjoy the variety of tasty salads and starters. Over 3 nights, we enjoyed both the Lodge and Roasted beets salads; the mushroom bisque, the roasted carrots and the fried feta starters; and the scallops, rack of lamb, and sake poached lobster pasta dishes. And since it was May (Michigans asparagus season), we had a side of grilled asparagus each night! Liam and Johann were great servers, and owner Eric was on hand each evening to welcome us. This is the perfect place for dining during sunset. We enjoyed our meal outdoors, and it wasn't crowded since we visited mid-week in August. The service was excellent. We both started with the mushroom bisque soup, which was outstanding. My wife ordered the whitefish accompanied by risotto and asparagus; the fish was delicious and not over-seasoned, while the risotto was decent and the asparagus was fantastic. I opted for a ribeye steak, asparagus, and dauphinoise potatoes. The potatoes were beautifully prepared, almost like a pie, and were wonderful. The steak was tender with a nice crust from the grill. For dessert, we enjoyed a pound cake and I had a delightful rum and ice cream parfait.... Ver carta
