"I dined this restaurant twice, both time food was excellent, so as service, ambiance. My only problem was I booked party of five 4 weeks in advance. I only could book 6:45PM, but the restaurant was nearly empty by at least by 7:30. Menu was reasonably priced. The wine list was good and glass choice was superb as well, but I hope they will have more $80 to $100 wine. We paid about $250 for each with tip and tax, we had 3 bottles of wine. This is not bad for what we experienced. But I like to feel more NY vibe in the restaurant. I think 701 West should work with booking system with open table."

two nights in order. the first night was incredible, which is why we came back. the second night was disappointing. service was poor. the main course was cold. can return, but not sure due to a bad experience.

There is fine dining and then there is 701 West dining. The entire experience from when we got to the restaurant till when we left was just unbelievably amazing. Thank you for making my date special. Will most definitely come back.

we were pleasantly surprised to find this elegant restaurant. To be honest, we hadn't done much investigation, so we had no expectations. the food and the service were superior. our only regret is that we were unable to blow free time, as we had theatre tickets. we're coming back. Ver carta

very good food, very good service, good ambiente. among the appetizers: broiled skalopps and juniper were particularly good. good escape: roasted turbo. good dessert: buckwheat puff baked. the location is ideal for dinner before Broadway games or after a broadway matinee show. good wine list but on the expensive side

I saw 701 West listed in Time out New York most romantic restaurants. So I thought I’d give it a try with my girlfriend on Valentine’s Day weekend. Could be my smartest move ever. I thought the restaurant was excellent. She is still talking about it and telling all her friends. That makes 701 West one of my all-time best restaurants
