"The location isn’t the most appealing, and you definitely don’t go there for the ambiance. The interior is dark and somewhat outdated, and most customers opt to take their food to go rather than dining in. Given the low prices, I can understand their business model. They keep the food in a deli-style warming case, but don’t let that mislead you. Nothing in that case sits for long, and even if the item you want is displayed, there’s a good chance that others have already bought it and are waiting for it at the pickup window. Be prepared to wait, but trust me, it’s worth it. We arrived around 4 PM, but unfortunately, the ooey gooey cake was sold out. Instead, we ordered 12 wings, 12 potato logs, a couple of ranch sides, a bag of cracklins, and a boudin link. Everything was incredibly fresh and delicious. I’ve never had a boudin link that I enjoyed until I tried theirs; it was fantastic. The potato logs were enormous, like sections of an extra-large potato, and they were cooked and seasoned to perfection. The cracklins were also delicious, and the wings were absolutely amazing—perfectly crunchy and well-seasoned. Next time I visit, I definitely want to try the chicken tenders, as they appeared to be quite popular!"
