The Casual Pint At The Grove

All around great. The most awesome selection of beer on tap, so many different brews available! I was expecting this place to be sub-par being in Hoover, but I was pleasantly surprised! The staff was great, and the food is always great.

We had a wonderful first visit. A very relaxed atmosphere with good food, wide drink selection and live music. The drafts were excellent and they allow you to have a sample before you order your pint. The sandwiches and salads were fresh and very good. Plenty to eat for dinner.

This place is fantastic. They have a great variety of beers on tap, canned beers, bottled beers, and wines. The food is really delicious. They also have board game nights, which are a lot of fun. Good beer selection, trivia was fun and seemed well run (third party) and they have a speaker for outside trivia players which is essential. The food was not good, the wings were really gummy and I got the wrong order (bone in instead of boneless) but they were slammed for trivia so I get it. The dip trio was fine but the chips tasted like they were bought at the dollar store. Idk other than the beer selection, very very average. Staff was nice though!

I attended the restaurant on board game night. They were hosting a local board game event team and a local D&D creator, which I found to be commendable. Supporting local businesses alongside another local business definitely earns them 5 stars in my book! The bar also offers themed trivia nights, a wide selection of locally brewed beers on tap, and the food was satisfying. In summary, I left the restaurant feeling very pleased with my overall experience.

I don't drink a lot, so I usually feel out of place at most bars. However, I felt right at home at this place. They have a cozy coffee shop area and an outdoor terrace. They offer a wide selection of drinks for those who do, but there are limited options for diet soda drinkers with only three choices available (my only complaint really.) I don't usually drink much, so I often feel out of place at bars. However, I felt right at home at the Casual Pint. For non-drinkers like me, they have a few soda options, although I wish they had more diet soda choices (my only complaint). The owner and staff are very friendly. I cannot stop raving about just how great a time we had here last night! I didn't get all the names of the crew working but Jeremy, the kitchen staff, the spunky ladies behind the bar all top notch people! We got there around 10pm ish and though the kitchen was soon closing they rushed our orders out hot, fresh, and tasty! They just truly seemed happy to be there and also welcome us in, which meant so much as we'd just left a place that was...lukewarm, at best. We will definitely be back to try more beers and just hang out for trivia and everything else they want to put on! Edit: came back today (6/17) and found their bbq pork sandwich. Most divine bbq in Bham true hidden gem!

First time visiting and I will definitely be back. The staff were great, friendly and very knowledgeable. Jeremy, Kelly, Carly and Caroline, were awesome at answering questions, telling us about the different brews and allowing us to try some. I'm not big on beer so the fact that they actually listened to me on what I like and found something I really enjoyed was over the top for me. We had to try the food and the cooks were Jacob and Dillion. They were great as well. Food came out fast, fresh and hot.
