"We've visited Lucky's several times while traveling through Pequot Lakes, and each time, the food has been excellent. They offer a diverse menu with some unique dishes that you won't find at many other places, so it's definitely not your typical bar food. The service is impressive, even though the place is often busy. It can get quite loud on game days or holiday weekends, but that adds to the charm of the atmosphere. "Great little roadside eatery, everything you hope for when you see a place like this while driving along. They also have some other items like jams and cookies and pie, besides the main menu being togo as well. We had a brisket melt and brisket burger, nothing fancy but it was quite good. We'd like to try the mashed potatoes and gravy (keep in mind they run out towards the end of the night) or breakfast sometime. The chocolate chip cookie and blueberry pie were both worth the little extra. It was also nice seeing a place with honeyberry jam so we grabbed one of those. Take a photo with Paul out front as well!"

"This is a wonderful little café in Pequot Lakes that serves delicious coffee, specialty drinks, tea, and other beverages, as well as fantastic breakfast sandwiches, lunch sandwiches, and soups. They have relocated to a unique log building that was formerly Silver Creek. In addition to the tasty food, they also offer a charming collection of lake-themed gifts and stylish décor. Sarah and Bill, the owners, are friendly and attentive, ensuring that you have a great experience here."

"We were in the area for a family vacation, and this restaurant delighted everyone—even my hard-to-please mother! That alone deserves a five-star rating. It was quite busy for a Thursday night. The atmosphere is casual, with a "come as you are" vibe, and you seat yourself. A waitress promptly greeted us and took our drink and appetizer order, which included honey BBQ wings. They were a bit overly sauced for my liking, but I expected that. We were really there for the pizza, even though the menu had a lot of great options. We ordered two large pizzas: one vegetarian and the other with sausage, mushrooms, and onions. With four adults, there wasn’t a crumb left! The sausage was phenomenal and added an incredible flavor to our pizza. However, the veggie pizza had way too many olives—both black and green—even for an olive lover like me. The thin, cheesy pizza was cut into small squares, making it easy to eat! I was also impressed by the many young kids helping to clear dirty plates and refill drinks—those kids were on top of it! This place is definitely family-friendly. We'll be returning next summer for sure, as my mom made sure to grab a loyalty punch card on her way out."

"My daughter and I visited this restaurant for breakfast right at opening time. The place has a unique vibe, featuring fun tablecloths and vaulted wood beam ceilings. There are also plenty of loon-themed decorations throughout. We ordered egg sandwiches on large croissants, and they were delicious. The server was very polite and friendly. There’s also a spacious patio for outdoor seating. Whenever I’m in town, I’ll definitely return to the Hungry Loon Café. My only suggestion would be to expand the menu with more options."
