Thus was the first time I have been to the Dutchman. a group of us went after the old toy show. I ordered the Mac and cheese with a side of pulled pork. the combination today was delicious! The pulled pork alone was soo good! I suggested they make the pair a regular option on the menu it was that good and the waitress we had was wonderful. she was able to handle our small party and all that came with it. She really made the experience even better. :

Was in the area for a few weeks and wow this place was truly amazing! The vibes, service, and food are all phenomenal! Our waitress was amazing too! So friendly!! We went every Tuesday for Singo with Jen and it was such a fun night out. We got the French onion soup, grilled chicken sandwich, roast beef sandwiches, waffle fries, and chicken bacon ranch wraps everything was delicious and fresh. I can't wait to come back next time I'm up in Bennington!!

The Dutchman tavern is all you'd expect in a small country town. It's full of locals and comfort foods. If this was Boston, you'd think it was Cheers. What's surprising is the list of local brews they have, and they're good! I had the Vermont Von Trapp-Trosten and it was so smooth. I highly recommend it. I also had the Massachusetts Jacks Abby and it was also good. For food, I had the beer battered fish. It was a huge piece of haddock with a crispy batter crust on top of a large portion of home fries. The waitresses were all very sweet and highly attentive. The location is good. You'll park on the side of the street, but that works for here. Ver carta
