The Grille At Maple Lawn

Excellent food and great service by Mauricio. The only downside was the too-loud live music that we didn't expect and were somewhat put off by it. This didn't seem like a restaurant where we would have had to contend with the high noise level.

The restaurant has a welcoming atmosphere, fantastic food, and a wonderful wait staff, particularly Mauricio who provided exceptional service. The Mariachi band added just the right amount of fun and enjoyment without being overwhelming. We spoke with the manager to recognize Mauricio for his excellent service.

We were looking for a place that served paella and once we took a look at the menu, none of us ordered it! Not to say that the paella isn't good, it's probably delicious but we each found something that we wanted more. From the mojito, to the tostones, everything was great! We had a reservation for 6 PM, but upon arrival, we were informed that the kitchen was backed up and we couldn't order until around 6:30. The waitress was incredibly kind, giving us 4 free drinks to make up for the delay. She explained that there was only one cook handling the busy Mother's Day crowd, as one manager had already left. Despite the long wait for our meal, the food was outstanding. We ended up leaving around 9 PM.

The food at this restaurant was fantastic, but the service was extremely poor. When we arrived, we waited at the hostess stand for 30 minutes as multiple employees walked past us without acknowledging our presence. Our reservations were not confirmed, and we had to track down a server to take our order. It took another 45 minutes before our food arrived, and we had to go seeking our server to check on our order. Overall, the service was disgraceful.

I hadn't been back to The Grille in over a year. When I went before, the food was excellent. We decided to take my father there for a birthday dinner. This time, the paella was not good. All of the meat, even the sausage, was over cooked. It also didn't have good flavor. We sent it back and got the tenderloin. It was too salty. Everyone who got rice and beans noticed that the rice was cooked unevenly. There were hard pieces of rice in with rice that was cooked well. I will not be going back. Ver carta

The service was very poor (asked for orange juice 4 times before it was brought), lukewarm at best self serve coffee, no salt/pepper on table, no butter for bread until requested several times, omelet station very slow and located in small foyer waiting area and quickly became overcrowded, server rolled eyes when some of our party declined free alcohol for breakfast ... $140.00 for 3 people for a mediocre experience at best left me feeling like I was foolish for choosing this restaurant for a special occasion. Mother's Day Brunch was wonderful. We had a friendly attentive waitress, she even brought smaller glasses for the kids. Nice spread with many options for breakfast and lunch. Everything was well seasoned but not overly salty. The omelet station probably took the longest but both people in my party who had them said they were good. The waffles were a little cold, but there close to the door which may have played a role. I selected The Grille to celebrate Easter with my wife. On special days like Easter, Mother's Day, Father's Day the restaurant sets out a brunch buffet layout. All other times it is a la carte. The Cuban/Puerto Rican food was outstanding and we helped ourselves to extra portions of ropa vieja, lechon asado and platanos amarillos. The desert layout was very good and the tres leche portions were delicious. In addition, the sangria provided had the right alcohol content and complemented the meal.
