"I went to this restaurant for trivia night with my girlfriends. We waited a long time for our food, which was decent. However, our waitress was extremely unprofessional. One of my friends accidentally forgot to leave a tip, and our server rudely approached our table and loudly stated, "I noticed you didn't leave a tip. Was there something wrong with the service? This is how I make my living." We respect and understand the work of food service providers, but the way she handled the situation was unacceptable and ruined our evening. She had the whole place silent. She could have addressed the issue in a different manner or simply accepted that she did not receive a tip. The rest of us left a tip for her. Unfortunately, she didn't check on us enough for me to remember her name."

great food! service has been met or measured depending on server. I recommend the flight larder benedict and the mimosa.

We visited this restaurant for the first time and absolutely enjoyed it. We dined in for brunch and found the service to be top-notch. The price per person ranged from $30 to $50. The food, service, and atmosphere all received a rating of 5 from us. We highly recommend trying the Breakfast Crack, Shrimp Grits, Chicken Biscuit, and The Hangover Burger. Ver carta

the larder has something for everyone, from south traditions such as Pimento cheese to clever ideas on the classic stroh. Nested in the untouched chamfer named hammond’s ferry, it is a beautiful opposite and if they flash, they can completely miss the location. I recommend their first trip for brunch and try the hangover burger they will be disappointed. we love the outside seats and call for orders. highly recommended.

Absolutely terrible. The biscuit for my chicken sandwich was undercooked and completely inedible. When I informed the waiter, he took my plate to the kitchen but never returned with a replacement dish. To make matters worse, the bill was not adjusted to account for the uneaten meal. After paying $70 for two drinks and two breakfast items, I left hungry and very disappointed. I will not be returning to this establishment. Service: dine-in.

"Hands down the best food I've had in Augusta. In Augusta for work, and have been trying out various restaurants with the work crew. This place I is the first that had me saying I'm coming back. EVERYTHING was good! Seating is limited and there was a short (10min) then from there it's either buffet style or takeout option. We dined in, which gave me a chance to sample EVERYTHING. I started with the salmon in lemon sauce. Not overcooked and just delicious. This was my favorite. Seconds were had. Next up was the fried pork loin. Probably my least favorite protein but still good. I'm not much of a pork person and still enjoyed. Then the barbeque chicken. This..was..good. seasoned to the bone. For sides, there was some corn and lima beans and plain rice. After this, we had the beef gumbo. The gumbo truth be told was more a soup. For me gumbo needs to be a little thicker...heartier. Whatever you want to call it delicious. The beef was seasoned well, tender and the broth flavoured with okras. There was also a salad bar, and I just had a fresh salad. Typical salad toppings with some.black olives and jalapenos to spice it up a little. Not sure about the dressing, I did without. Then everything was topped off with the peach cobbler. I enjoyed this as well, probably because it was not overly sweet. But I know people are passionate about their cobbler, so opinions will very. All in all, I'm definitely going back and look forward to different daily dishes. We were told when leaving tomorrow (Friday) is fried chicken day."

"My significant other and I went to Augusta to celebrate our 5-year anniversary and asked friends in the area for recommendations. This was one of the top recommended restaurants and we were NOT disappointed. First off, we’re from Atlanta, so we’re used to really nice fine dining experiences. The food was absolutely incredible. We had steaks and the shrimp and grits as well as 2 appetizers and a side of Mac and cheese. We also had several cocktails that were creative and delicious! I’m writing this review in late December when we went the first week in November solely because it’s been on my mind to leave this review for Victoria, our incredible waitress. I know sometimes reviews can mean a lot to an owner (so I’m really hoping you see this! and I think this woman deserves some sort of raise or bonus because she’s the best waitress I’ve had in years. She made our whole dining experience. Without her, it would’ve been great food and drinks, but she made the entire experience absolutely wonderful. We were a very late reservation, so by the end of our meal the restaurant closed. Yet she still came out with a chocolate dessert and creme brûlée on a tray, said it was on her and thanked us for spending our evening with them. She said to take as long as we wanted and that just meant so much to us. So thank you Victoria. We hope our paths cross again, you’re incredible "
