Just tried for the first time. Two of the best sandwiches we have had in a very long time. Fresh and delicious.

0 for me hard bread and small for $11.50. They tried to convince me that the bread was fresh from this morning. But they did give me back my money.

Just had one of their Lobster Rolls and it is to die for. Very Fresh and complimented by a great soft and warm bun. I will definitely be back for one of these on the regular. Ver carta

Went here for the first and last time. The hot lobster roll was dry and definately not worth the money. The Mikey Manhattan had no gravy and couldn't tell it was on garlic bread. The roast beef was good.

Roast beef had a lot of hard grizzly fat and the portion was small. First time going and I won’t be returning. When I asked how things were cooked the guy at the register looked and answered like I was crazy for asking.

After frequenting Hero Joint several times for meals, we ordered catering for our backyard party. Our 4 foot hero's were ready on time, fresh and perfectly put together! The meathead hero was a huge hit, with its smoky turkey and red onion. Delicious! We also had the Balsamic Bird which we actually ran out of first! The portions were great and the chicken with the roasted peppers was awesome! We appreciated the friendly, professional service and will absolutely use them again! Ver carta

I have been having such a hard time finding a place where the chicken is not chewy or has like tendons. I was told that these very specific chicken breast for their sandwiches so I tried it. It was absolutely delicious and the bread was so soft. The price is more than reasonable, as the sandwich is very big and they didn't skimp on the chicken. They clearly use premium ingredients. Very good experience at The Hero Joint. It's a clean, well organized little gem off of Main street in Patchogue. Good variety of sammiches to pick from. The potato chips they make were delicious, it was something nice to snack on while driving home. Our order did not disappoint at all. Will definitely be going back to try more. The Hero Joint seems like a pretty awesome place but it's really expensive and their sandwiches are soggy. So I ordered the Reuben on rye and I said to the girl is it toasted and she said yes. That was not toasted that sandwich practically fell apart when I started to eat it. The meat is extremely fatty and you're better off getting Boars Head pastrami from another deli which is far better.
