"I visited George's Market to return some items and buy fresh salads from their salad bar. As a new customer, I decided to give it a try but two incidents left me with a negative impression. Firstly, the lady at the customer service desk was not very friendly when I wanted to return opened but lightly used items. Instead of explaining the store policy kindly, she was rather abrupt. Secondly, when I tried to take home some empty plastic containers for my salads, I was surprised to learn that they were not free. The woman at the register was unfriendly when she saw them in my cart and informed me that they cost $1.25 each. I explained that I was unaware of this policy but she was still abrupt. Despite the store's beauty, the poor customer service has deterred me from making it my regular grocery shopping destination."

"We each started with a slice, which arrived quickly and hot—just how it should be. After our first bites, we exchanged approving nods. Unlike many other pizza places in Philadelphia and its suburbs that tend to overdo the cheese, leading to it sliding off with a single bite, that isn’t the case at Bruno's! Another highlight is the pizza sauce—it’s robust, sweet, and hints at herbs and spices, just as good pizza sauce should be. Overall, the pizza strikes the perfect balance of cheese, sauce, and a crust that’s both crispy and chewy—truly pizza perfection. Next, we tried their cheesesteak with American cheese and onions. They use fresh rolls that are soft yet remarkably hold all the meat and cheese together, making for a fantastic cheesesteak. What sets Bruno's cheesesteak apart is that they season their meat, offering a flavor profile that’s much richer than the typical, dry meat and cheese you find at many other places. The combination of the seasoned meat, onions, and cheese in that soft roll makes this one of the best cheesesteaks I’ve ever had in Philadelphia. I’ve been to all the popular spots: Steve's Prince of Steaks, Geno's, Pat's, Jim's on South St., and Dalessandro's Steaks, and I can confidently say you need to try a cheesesteak from Bruno's to understand what I mean. To finish our meal, we ordered chicken wings. They are breaded and fried in the style that many of us Philadelphians grew up enjoying from local seafood places and pizzerias. The wings were cooked perfectly, and that first bite into the crispy breading had me hooked. I read some reviews claiming the chicken was undercooked, but I would have to disagree. It’s possible for properly cooked chicken to look red or even bleed at the thigh bone due to pigments from the bone marrow seeping through the thin bones of these young birds, causing a slight tint. I recommend enjoying a slice while waiting for your pizza to be ready. If you’re in the area, this is the place to visit! Pro tip: reheat your pizza on the stove to regain that fresh-from-the-oven taste and texture. Avoid microwaving your leftovers—don’t be an amateur!"

"Trevi is one of our fave places to eat both for casual snacks (aps and pizza) as well as some outstanding dinner entrees This time we brought another couple with us for their 1st time. While the food was totally awesome as always (the friends literally licked their plates clean) I believe the server was new. And while she absolutely tried... it somewhat fell short. Had to remind her couple of time to bring glasses for water in the beginning and the clearing of empty dishes from the table was lagging (and with 4 people pretty much hitting every course that started adding up fast and we were running out of room) Nothing horrible would not deter us from coming back by no means but just hoping that the young lady learns reasonably fast Else great evening as expected"

"Tuvimos una buena comida durante la temporada navideña. Éramos las ÚNICAS personas en todo el restaurante. Las raciones son GRANDES. La brocheta de cordero era genial, mientras que el pollo y el cerdo eran buenos. Nos encantó un queso feta en masa filo con miel. Sin embargo, la gran señorita fue el pulpo. Era una porción enorme, pero demasiado cocida y masticable. La camarera fue muy cordial. Sin embargo, al final de la comida, fue sorprendente que, dado que éramos las únicas personas en todo el restaurante, literalmente tuve que ir al área de recepción para pedir el cheque porque ella era MIA. "Then, a server approached and informed me that I couldn't share my all-you-can-eat items. I was taken aback—I'm simply sharing a small bite with my 9-year-old daughter who was eagerly waiting for her own meal. Another waiter then came over, and I felt compelled to tell her not to watch me but rather to bring my daughter's food if I couldn’t share a taste of what I was eating. I was deeply offended by the way my daughter and I were treated over something as simple as tasting food from the all-you-can-eat menu while she waited for her own order. As an African American woman with an African American child, I found the harassment and discriminatory behavior we experienced today to be unacceptable. I will not be returning, and I will encourage others to consider the same. The atmosphere felt racially charged, and unfortunately, the quality of the food has declined as well. The treatment we received was truly horrific."
