"I usually have a great time here, but my last visit was very unpleasant. I went in with my friend and was told that it was a 30-minute waiting time, so we asked the host daniele if we could wait in the bar until our table was finished. she said yes and gave me a summer. we have 2 drinks and a yard sale at the bar and we will order 2 more drinks and the whole day breakfast sandwich once sitting. when our table was ready, I went to the hostess and she sat on the table and asked if we had closed our register card in the bar and so we went and closed the register card and then waited for our table. I guess the manager sandy didn’t like us sitting on a table and decided to come over and screaming at us before 4 other tables and embarrassing us to sit, although the host gave us the summer for one table. then she and I and my friend waited to be served 20 minutes and were never served. the waitress went out of her way not to make the eye contact and not to serve us.” So we thought it was time to go, and wanted to ask our waitress why we were not served and their answer was "my man sand told me that I was not allowed to wait for her, under no circumstances, I really sorry, it was so unpleasant." we would never have been sitting on the bar with a summer if it wasn't for our hostess that it was okay!"

"We arrived at the restaurant at 5:40 and waited 20 minutes to place our order. Despite the busy crowd, we were understanding. However, the table next to us, who arrived around the same time, received their food and left before we were served. They kindly gave their french fries to our 2 year old out of sympathy. We were reassured that our order was next, but after over an hour, it still had not arrived. The manager came over, but showed no remorse for the delay. Despite offering more drinks, they never materialized. We had specifically requested the children's mac and cheese to come first, but it arrived five minutes after waiting for an hour and a half for our food. When the food finally came, half of the orders were overcooked and cold. There aren't many dining options in the Sugar Loaf area, but it may be better to opt for the grocery store and prepare your own meal instead."

"If you find yourself in Sugarloaf, you have to come to this restaurant even if you're not staying at the hotel! On our first night, we ordered small plates of mussels and fried Brussels sprouts, but they were anything but small! The portion sizes were generous and the food was absolutely delicious. The mussels were plump and some of the best I've had in a long time. We returned the next night for another fantastic meal, ordering mussels again and trying the delicious short ribs. The salad was fresh and tasty as well. I've already made reservations for 6 on Saturday to show my friends how great this place is, and I can't wait to eat there again. The mussels are a must-try!"

"The food was disappointing, to say the least (my son even developed a stomach ache). Everything was oversalted; the duck nuggets lacked flavor, the fondue was overly watery and lumpy with no hint of Gruyère, and the escargots were excessively oily. Even the cappuccino tasted more like an Americano than espresso. On a positive note, the waitress was friendly and offered us complimentary macarons to make up for our unpleasant experience. If you're interested in having raclette, it's best to call ahead and confirm, as it seems you need to pre-order it. In our case, we made an online reservation without anyone asking about raclette, and we did not receive any follow-up communication about our reservation or the raclette menu, so it was unavailable for us."
