The two of us shared three starters and we each had a salad as well. Very good in every way.

Food was delicious. Long wait to get food. The portion on one of the meals was very small. Liked like it would make a good appetizer.

Thyme seems to be trying to be a somewhat fancy restaurant, with white tablecloths and upscale pricing. But the food was just okay, and the noise level was just too high for a relaxing dinner. Ver carta

My friend and I came here to celebrate her birthday. We found Thyme by accident! What a pleasant surprise! Food was delicious! Service was great! Love the Piana bar and next time we will check out the bar downstairs! What a little gem in Newtown! Will be back!

Thyme is the old Black Stallion Restaurant. The food is impeccable, with a good variety of dishes to choose from. They have an excellent wine, beer and refreshment selection. We eat on the 2nd floor, and then have a few cocktails in the piano bar afterwards. Very 'cool ' place to eat and drink.

First time at thyme not thrilled just expected better service we were seated at the bar area downstairs where there was one person serving the entire area and handling the bartending needs. Understood from that server that someone walked out in the middle of a shift so they were understaffed and couldn’t accommodate everyone on a timely fashion that was seated in that area. Ver carta

Started with a nightly special, Cob Salad, a bunch of wilted greens and a shortage of other ingredients. Waited an hour for our main course, wife had crab cakes, ok but potatoes were burnt, should not have been on the plate. I had scallops, ok. Because of the wait we were given a $10 coupon for next visit (gave it to another table) and 1, not 2, free deserts that we took home. Parking is almost impossible.

My husband and I were excited to try this restaurant from online reviews and menu choices. The actual menu was different than they posted online. I had trouble picking from the choices as none sounded good to me and I love most foods. The crab cakes I had were full of fillers and mushy and the side of corn n bean salsa was way too spicy. We did enjoy the walnut salad and calamari and my husband liked his dinner of sliced beef filet and horseradish mashed potatoes. But unfortunately we will not be back there.

We decided to try your prime rib Sunday, thinking that it would fresh made for Sunday only. The meal was terrible. The potatoe was half cook and seem old and just about warm. The meal was very dry and little favor because made the day before. Big pieces of fat came along with the meat discussing. The cream spinach would have been very good if it was hot. The bread was the only thing hot. We eat out a lot and was hoping we would have been please and another place to go with our friends. The waiter Frank did his best to try and please us.Bonefish here we come. Ver carta
