This was my family's first time dining at this restaurant, and it did not disappoint. The food was fresh and had an authentic taste. The waitstaff were quick, friendly, and attentive. We ordered the agedashi tofu, seafood pancake, and sushi/sashimi combo, and we would definitely choose these dishes again next time. Food: 5/5.

Sushi is good, however, the first sushi order was brought out around 5 minutes before the second sushi dish was, which was brought out around 20 minutes before the third dish was. Obviously, things take longer to make when they're being prepared in the kitchen, but everything should be brought out around the same time.Food: 4/5

If you're in Staten Island and searching for an authentic Korean restaurant, this spot is perfect for you. With genuine flavors and presentation from Korean chefs and the owner, it's a very laid-back place. The waitstaff is exceptionally friendly as well. While their barbecue servings can be a bit pricey, I personally prefer their traditional Korean dishes. My favorite is the beef intestine stew, 곱창 정골! Ver carta

Very honest foodTheir best sushi/sashimi is hirame (fluke) 광어. The sushi man serves hirame in Korean style that is the live fish is fileted and served in the same day. This gives a very distinctive texture to the raw fish. The Japanese prefers drying and aging for 8 to 12 hrs for a softer texture. I prefer the slightly unique texture of the fish over softer Japanese style.They also make real good Korean soups. My go to soup are kalbe tang and soon tofu. I haven't had the opportunity to try all the soup, but I can tell that these soups are made from broath

Went with my daughter (11yo) to celebrate her upcoming graduation. The food and the experience were nothing short of amazing! Great cuts of meat, delicious sauces and add-ons. Even the dessert was great. The staff were helpful and assisted my daughter and I as it was our first time there. She and I will remember this day forever. A big thank you to the staff.Kid-friendliness: They didn't speak down to my daughter. She speaks and conducts herself like an adult and they treated her as such.Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair accessible but a little tight inside for a chair.

When you order the sushi combo, you might want to specify whether you would prefer more rolls or more sashimi. Tokyo Sushi also offers a range of other Japanese dishes, including ramen and udon.
