"Our food was wonderful as was the service. The staff was wonderful, I want to appoligize for all of mankind for the loud, full of him self jerk at the large table behind us. He was so loud my wife and I couldn 't talk to each other but now I know that as long as you make 7.5 million every month you should be fine, all about some drug bust on Nantucket, how it takes 10 hours to drive from Milan to the south of France and that his wife is a F Redneck pretty sure the downstairs diners heard that one. Anyway we are local and come a couple times a year and will continue to do so, hopefully that guy left a big tip, because you all deserve one. Thanks"

"I recently stopped by this restaurant for a late lunch/early dinner and had a fantastic experience! The food was delicious, the bartender was friendly and provided excellent service to everyone at the bar (even when it started getting busy). He also offered suggestions for other places to visit in the area and was very accommodating when I requested to substitute sides for my meal. They had a great selection of local beers on tap as well. The BBQ was so tasty that I ended up ordering some to-go for lunch another day. The baked beans were a standout dish, not overly thick and heavy, with pieces of pepper that reminded me of my grandma's recipe. I would definitely come back and recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting the area!"

"The Greek style pizza was excellent. My picky 10 year old ordered a small cheese and devoured almost all but the two slices I swiped. The small meatball sub was plentiful, had a lot of cheese, sauce was tasty and but meatballs themselves were just OK. The Italian sub was more bread and lettuce than heartier fillings. Prices were fair for the portions. Our waitress was friendly and attentive. The restaurant is connected to a bar in the back and we could hear the live band playing, which was a fun treat for a Wednesday night pizza dinner."

"I can't comment on the food this time. I usually eat here every time I pass through because it's in a convenient location that's easy to get in and out of. Unfortunately, when we arrived this time, we parked all three of our motorcycles in one spot and decided to stretch our legs by walking around town before dining after a long morning ride, leaving one rider with the bikes. Shortly after we crossed the street, a Subway employee—presumably the manager—driving a black Ford F-150, threatened the rider, saying he would have our motorcycles towed. He didn't even ask if we were going to eat there! My friend tried to explain the situation, but the manager responded with vulgar language while I saw the other two walk away. It took no more than ten minutes! My friend called out to us to inform us of what happened. We then decided to leave and went next door to the 302 Tavern, which was a lovely place—I highly recommend it! As for the Subway in Fryeburg, Maine, I can't say the same. Food: 4, Service: 1, Atmosphere: 4."
