Great staff, great atmosphere and really really good food. Has learned from the best in Denmark, Kiin Kiin and Geranium.

Vim is consistently amazing. Hands down the best food in Santa Cruz, and quite possibly the best food I’ve ever had. This place deserves to have a Michelin star.

This place is outstanding. Extraordinary cuisine and marvelous service. It is out go to place for cuisine.My one fault is because of its location the patio dining can sometimes be a bit noisy from traffic on Mission Str. Ver carta

This place was delicious! I would highly recommend! I’m usually skeptical of pork tenderloin being dry and over cooked, but these are sous vide and we’re perfect! The short rib was amazing and both had great sides and sauces! The desserts were amazing!

I absolutely adore this restaurant. I was drawn here thanks to my favorite code editor, Vim, and had an amazing experience. The desserts were absolutely delightful. I highly recommend this place. Plus, I had a little fun trying to find the exit, which will surely entertain all the Linux programmers and coding enthusiasts out there.

This restaurant was amazing! Everything we tried was delicious. We received complimentary stuffed mushrooms that were surprisingly tasty. The cocktails were excellent, and their homemade pasta was outstanding. I also enjoyed a peach and almond tea, which was delightful. I highly recommend this place - treat yourself to a meal here! Food: excellent. Had four girls out for a birthday dinner. Each entree was specifically yummy. In fact, the menu says no substitutions as the chef has carefully designed each dish. We had the pork rib dinner, the Ahi, and two vegetarian curry dishes. Then we had 4 desserts. The chocolate cake was amazing: perfectly balanced layers, the passion fruit tart was good, the cookie layered thing was very good, and the chocolate bread pudding was Devine. Vim's is one of the best restaurants I have visited in California. Our server, Eric, was extremely attentive and even called ahead of our reservation to ask for the names of the birthday guests, which he then added to the menu. He consistently checked in on us to ensure we were taken care of. The escargot was outstanding, probably the best I have had in a long time. The pork tenderloin was cooked to perfection and incredibly moist. Each bite was a delight. The pasta dish with black truffle was simply amazing. The dessert, particularly the strawberry tart and dark chocolate caramel cupcake, was delicious. The cupcake was a special treat thrown in for my birthday, making the dining experience...

first, if they have a car, they won't go. we had to park in a park zone and make sure our car was dragged all the time. we just don't get it. the menu we looked at on the line was completely different from the menu in the restaurant. we applaud before location in season and think that is wonderful, but nothing was the same. we had a chicken dish that was really easy. it was so sweet, which is also ok when it is balanced with a sharp or economical aspekt. it was not . the pork was served up with stuffed strawberries. again. there were actually ingredients in the plate that we could not identify. we thought the drinks menu was so pretentious we couldn't find anything we wanted. we ask for a vo...
