"This restaurant was bad all around. Me(39), son(14), son(4). 1. Made a 9am reservation, tried asking if we wanted a high top, seeing I have a 4 year old, sat at 9:20am. 20 minutes late. Hostess had to set table: water glasses, coffee/tea mug, small bread plate, fork, butter knife, and the cloth napkins. 2. Ordered a coffee, 2 orange juices, and a water. There were three water glasses originally on the table. By the time I came back with my 5yo's cereal and yogurt, there were still no spoons to be found especially with ordering coffee, they forgot my 14yo's water, and removed all three water glasses from table. 3. The buffet was half available, as the scrambled eggs and waffles were all gone by the time I went up to get my food after my 14yo and 4yo were situated. Had to wait like 10 minutes with other people in line waiting as well. Food was mediocre at best. 4. Not even eating half my own breakfast yet, I only had a third of my oj and two sips of my coffee, the waiter places check on table. Essentially implying to leave asap. We weren't loud, obnoxious, dirty, anything, unlike the table next to us with three toddlers. Check came to $47 and change, gave the waiter a $6 tip, which is much much less that I typically tip, since I've worked in the restaurant industry, and tip generously. I wouldn't recommend this restaurant."

We had a lovely time at the breakfast buffet. Our kids ate for free. The service was excellent.

Iggy was great. Spinach and crab dip had very little spinach, if any, and could have more crab Pizza was good, a hearty seven.

Decent by-the-glass winelist. A few standard vegetarian options. The mezze plate (hummus) always a safe bet at a Marriott hotel.

Awful experience all around! Most of the food was inedible. Service was slow. It’s really a shame as the view of the harbor is perfect. Marriott should really revamp this place . Not up to standards of a 4 star hotel .

The rockfish, shrimp and grits was pleasant, but we are bot huge grits eaters, so we left most of that part of the meal untouched. The crab cakes over vegetables the vegetables, including the puree corn that I was initially skeptical about, was good. The (broiled) crab cakes were okay; have had better elsewhere. The filler taste was a bit more pronounced tgan i would prefer. Ordered a side of roasted brussel sprouts, this was delicious!

"Highly recommend Sweet Peaz Southern Kitchen! The food is served fresh and hot. We were a party of eight and ordered Fried Whiting with Yams and Mac n Cheese, Chicken and Waffles, Fried Chicken Wings, Chicken Tenders, Fried Shrimp, French Fries, and Collard Greens. The Sweet Potato Waffles were absolutely delicious! The fried chicken, shrimp, and fish were cooked perfectly and tasted as good as they looked. The seasoning was just right—not too salty, allowing the flavors to shine. The yams and collards were a real treat for the taste buds. And the cornbread? Simply amazing. My only disappointment was that the first taste was free (haha). The Mac n Cheese was decent, but the Chicken Tenders didn’t quite live up to their name; however, they did remake them for us to take home. The space is small and simple, with old-school music that adds to the enjoyable dining experience. They limit dining to one hour to ensure everyone can enjoy the food, which I appreciate—I dislike when people linger for too long when others are waiting. The staff were friendly, making us feel valued and appreciated. Prices are reasonable. One downside was that many items were unavailable, including grits—which was a big letdown since I was looking forward to the famous Shrimp and Grits—as well as butter, potato salad, seafood salad, and tartar sauce. I recommend calling ahead if you’re craving a specific dish. Despite this, it was a great dining choice and lived up to the positive reviews. Overall, we left satisfied and would gladly return. Parking is street parking only, as there’s no dedicated lot."
