Decent local Bar-B-Q joint with all the staples. Worth the stop on the way out of Selma. Had a large BBQ Plate with choice of 2 sides and hushpuppies included. Ver carta

July 21 2022 I called an order for some BBQ sandwiches. The girl who answered the phone broke my sandwiches. I didn't ask for a raid on the sandwiches and put him on the side. No, that didn't happen. Slav was on all sandwiches. Then I changed for one side of the in-law. Not very bright person working the counter.

I got the BBQ and fish platter and was not disappointed especially with the portions o rBBQ and fish (bass). Talk about generous! Both the potato salad and coleslaw are what I would consider traditional no frills recipes but it reminded me of home and that's not a bad thing. Definitely worth the stop if heading in/out north of Smithfield.

It was my first time dining at this restaurant. I ordered a chicken breast sandwich on a bun, along with some fries and a soda. I didn’t realize that the chicken breast would still have bones in it, which was quite a surprise! After encountering another bone in my second bite, I felt disappointed. As for the flavor, it was just okay—nothing to write home about. But that's just my personal opinion. Ver carta

No frills but fast service from a wonderful full menu of daily specials, with your choice of meat and two vegetables! From their daily special for Monday, I chose their hamburger steak with mashed tater tots (really good! and their brunswick stew. My friend got their fried pork chops with green beans (seasoned with pork and potato salad. I posted pics of both. We were originally planning on trying their barbecue and fried chicken, but will do so next time!

Had my birthday dinner here I was so happy ! Searched for three hours for a place and this was it ! Pulled pork was probably the best I have ever had in my life ! Fried chicken was moist and juicy ! Cooked to perfection ! I can say enough how you needto stop here if traveling south ! It?s worth a drive ! Now the service was beyond exceptional ! I have never had such greatservice with a smile ! I guess it?s true about southern hospitality! I sure found it here ! Last but surely not least mywaitress PAID for my birthday dinner ! It brought tears to my eyes !
