The service was impressive, and the food was excellent. The interior has a lovely ambiance. I was looking to try a great steak restaurant in Dallas, and I was not let down. The steak I ordered was a bit pricey, but it was absolutely delicious. Ver carta

Everything was great except for the steak. It had a seasoning that really ruined the experience for me. I prefer my steak with minimal preparation—just salt and pepper, nothing more. Anything else tends to overshadow the natural flavor of the meat. I also ordered it medium rare, but it was overcooked.

The food and service were good, but there was a water leak directly above our table with a constant drip. I brought it to the server's attention, and he mentioned that they were already aware of the issue. If they knew about it, I’m not sure why they thought it was acceptable for customers to sit at that table.

Service was slow even though the restaurant was pretty empty. My steak was rare when I asked for medium. By the time they recooked it my sides were cold and the steak was then burnt on the ends. Overall for the $160 we spent it really wasn’t that good and we didn’t get that much food out of it. Not somewhere we will go back too. Ver carta

I had a great experience overall. There was plenty of parking available. I visited on a Sunday evening and was seated right away for a party of four. However, the service was a bit slow. It took some time for us to receive our appetizer, drinks, and food, which made me wonder if the staff was new or inexperienced. The appetizer, though, was absolutely delicious, though I wish there were more chips served with it. The quality and presentation of the food were excellent!

Our server Julia was great. She was friendly and bubbly and constantly checked on us. The main things I/we didn’t enjoy was our table. It was right near the kitchen and the exit (on a cold night) so there was a lot of movement and cold air. It made it difficult to converse with one another and to get comfortable. So we ate and drank as quickly as possible so we could leave. The fish and chips was good. I liked the light batter and spicy tartar. My date did not enjoy his Nashville hot chicken. He said it didn’t have a lot of flavor. We both did not enjoy the slaw. The portions were great and the drinks were tasty and strong. Overall, it was an ok experience. Overall, it was an excellent dining experience from the cocktails to the appetizers, main courses, and desserts! The grapefruit martini was refreshing (though be cautious if you don’t enjoy pulp, as this drink contains it), and the Old Fashioned was, as always, outstanding. All the appetizers we sampled were tasty, although our least favorite among the three was the shrimp. For our main courses, we ordered the almond-crusted chicken while our friends opted for the hanger steak. We had initially wanted to try the sweet tea chicken, but they only marinate a limited quantity, so I suggest arriving earlier in the day if you want to order that.
