"I absolutely love the Diner! The crispy hash browns are a particular favorite of mine. I prefer dining at locally-owned restaurants, especially when the owner is present. I've never had a bad meal there, and if I did, I know Louie would make it right. That's what sets it apart from big chains. I also appreciate how Louie greets his customers at the entrance. The food is excellent, the owner is friendly, and the servers are polite and nice. I always choose to eat at places when the owner is around, and I avoid the lunch rush. Sometimes it really makes a difference, so I try to visit after peak hours, like around 2-3 PM. I’ll definitely be back, Louie! I only wish you offered Grubhub!"

"Absolutely fantastic pizza! The only other place that comes close is Giuseppe's, which used to be my favorite until I discovered this gem. It’s one of the top five pizzas I’ve ever had in the world. I ordered a medium since I was dining alone that day, but when I picked it up, I found out they don’t actually offer a medium size—what I got was a large. I wasn’t upset, but I did wish I had known beforehand, as I was trying to stick to a budget for my lunch. That said, it’s the only complaint I’ve had in 30 years! I highly recommend this place! You won’t be disappointed if you order any pizza with extra cheese—it's absolutely delicious!"

"The wife and I quit going to Honeymoon and we were regulars there even before the new building was erected. While dining there on one occasion we were told by.our server that the last time we visited we did not pay our bill. My wife told the server to bring over the receipt knowing it was not true and she should gladly pay which they couldn't produce. The next time we visited Honeymoon we were again reminded that we had not paid a bill and we again told the server to supply the receipt and we would gladly pay the bill, again no receipt could be found My wife at the time would add the meal amount as well as a generous tip and give the money to the server before we left the table and told them to pay the bill and just keep the change. If a waitress was so busy that she put that money in their own pocket or just plain helping themselves to the money it's not our fault or problem that's for Honeymoon to deal with. We never in our lives skipped out on not paying a bill of any kind. Honeymoon you have lost two regular customers for the rest of our life's, over a greedy employee."

"Today was my first time visiting this restaurant and I was thoroughly impressed. Our waitress provided excellent service and the food was not only delicious, but the portions were generous and well worth the price. The establishment was very clean and all of the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. I will definitely be returning in the future. Overall rating: Food - 5 Service - 5 Atmosphere - 5. Dining in cost per person ranges from $1 to $10."

"On my most recent visit, we went to their Fat Tuesday celebration and ended up spending over $200 as a group. Disappointingly, they were out of nearly every item on the special menu, and we were among the first guests that evening. We tried to make the best of it and didn’t want to complain too much since the staff seemed overwhelmed and short-handed. However, when the bill arrived, our drinks weren't discounted as promised, so we simply asked for an adjustment, only for the manager to confront us with, “Who told you they were half off?” To which we had to respond, “Your hostess did.” That situation was disheartening, especially since we tried to be understanding on such a chaotic night, yet found ourselves being questioned as if we were at fault. Later, I saw a Facebook post highlighting their Fat Tuesday event from the following night. I couldn't help but ask, “How do YOU think that night went, LaLa’s?” I knew we weren’t the only ones disappointed. Even the server expressed frustration, having brought her parents along only to discover there was nothing for them to order! The manager eventually reached out to me personally. She was very apologetic and shared her embarrassment over the situation, offering to make it up to us with gift cards. I appreciated her gesture and felt it was a commendable response to a rough night, even though I never asked for compensation in the first place. I sent her the information she required to receive the gift cards, but unfortunately, they never arrived. As a result, I haven’t returned since. You may be wondering why I'm posting this review in October when the incident happened in February. I recently received a promotional text from the restaurant inviting me to another special event, but until I hear that things have improved, I won't be going back."
