Wissota Chophouse Stevens Point

We celebrated our 8th wedding anniversary at Wissota Chophouse, and it was absolutely perfect.

This is our favorite spot for birthdays and anniversaries. We've been visiting for two years and intend to keep coming back. The service is excellent, the food is delicious, and the drinks are fantastic.

First time at Wissota Chophouse and I’m glad I give it a try. Amazing food, one of the best steaks I have had along with scallops. Crab cake was very delicious too. I don’t really enjoy the chocolate cake though as it’s very sweet.Food: 5/5 Ver carta

The best dining experience sitting at the bar I have ever had! Bonnie and chef Matt are the best in the business! Asked for the chef to make me something he wanted to cook not on the menu, F'n amazing!!! I will definitely make another day trip for theexperience. Thanks much.

I celebrated my birthday and they made it a very special dinner and experience! I had the chilean sea bass and my husband had the New York strip steak. Both were expertly prepared. The mushroom risotto side was superb and the chocolate cake and carrot cake for dessert was the best!

We enjoyed a wonderful date night at this restaurant! The ambiance was delightful, and our server, Faith, provided excellent service. The food was exquisite—the steak was cooked to perfection, the mashed potatoes were exceptional, and the carrot cake was simply fabulous! I highly recommend this place! Ver carta

Incredible experience tonight for our anniversary dinner. Our waitress Vanessa was fantastic. My only critique would be on the plate size. A 5oz steak on a big plate looks sad. I’d also prefer sides with the steak than sides to share.But they treated us to dessert with our celebration and the cake was massive. Definitely recommend.

If you're in search of fantastic food, especially the best steaks and steak dishes in town, this is the place to visit! The scallops are cooked to perfection, and the orange butter sauce enhances their flavor beautifully. I'm a big fan of the truffle mac and cheese with Nueske bacon—it's an absolute must-try! And don't get me started on the dessert options! You simply have to try the carrot cake!! If carrot cake isn't your thing, the chocolate cake is an excellent alternative, especially if you enjoy coffee after dinner. The wine selection is impressive as well! Every visit to this restaurant is a delightful experience!

We were a group of six and enjoyed excellent service throughout our meal. The salads, flatbread, mushroom risotto, and hamburgers were quite good. However, my husband and I ordered the sea bass and prawns, and both dishes were unfortunately overcooked. Our total bill came to over $300.00, which included $80 worth of food that was barely edible. It felt excessive to pay $40 for a small piece of overcooked fish and another $40 for six overcooked large shrimp. This is not good for business. If you advertise delicious and perfectly prepared seafood, customers have a reasonable expectation to receive that quality. We left feeling very disappointed. Ver carta
