"Overall they have awesome subs, always great quality and taste great. The reason for the 4 stars, is because the lady handling where people sit seemed to have some issues. We told her when we first came in we wanted an outdoor spot to sit, which at the time there were none. Within the 30 minutes we waited in line to order our subs we saw several groups allowed to go sit in the patio. When I asked her if we could sit out there she said there were no more seats, and I said we have been here for way longer then the 2 groups you just let go sit out there, she replied “it’s a complicated system” and huffed and puffed and got all frustrated. On top of that they had groups sitting out there that were done eating since we arrived, 40 minutes later by the time we got our food they were still out there, kind of a problem when you have a while 4 tables outside that can be used. Don’t go on Saturdays around lunch, takes about 40-50 minutes to order and get your sub."

"My very first visit was at 8 PM, and the young lady was very active packing all the chocolates away, though the closing time was 9 PM. She offered very little assistance with the chocolates and seemed as though she just wanted us to hurry up and make a selection so that she could finish closing. Only hot chocolate was available because she had shut down the expresso machine. The hot chocolate was not that tasty honestly; my daughter and I didn’t even finish ours. They could elevate the drinks by adding whipped cream, marshmallows, flavorings, and sprinkles or something creative. Honestly, my hot chocolate from home exceeded that. On top of that, it’s kind of expensive, which I wouldn’t have minded if it was special. I did order a chocolate so that the trip wouldn’t feel like a total waste of time, but I didn’t eat it until I returned to my hotel. It was very good and made me want to buy more, so I went back the next day but around lunch time. The young lady was very pleasant and helpful. I ordered the salted caramel cake, which was just okay to me. I also ordered 12 chocolates. Any of the chocolates with liquid caramel in them are good, and the hazelnut praline one was good too. I didn’t like any of the dark chocolate ones because I don’t like dark chocolate. Unfortunately this place uses a lot of dark chocolate. There also wasn’t very much in stock as seen in the pictures. I was hoping to purchase some cool desserts, but none were there, such as the tiramisu, bombs, and tarts. Some of the highly recommended chocolates weren’t even in stock. The associate said the stock was low because of the previous holidays, though the date was 1-3-25. Maybe the chocolatiers were on vacation or something and made desserts to last while they were gone or something. Overall, I’d say the place is okay. If you happen to be on Pearl Street, go, but definitely don’t go out of your way to go there."

"I think the only mistake was on my end, I was hungry ready to order and ready to eat. I wasn't sure on their offering and ordered what I thought were empanadas and with meat. However I believe I made the mistake as the cashier explained but I was not focused, I order the Patagonia and a different one and then noticed they had sandwiches which seemed very appealing from the ingredients. I ended order the lomita and their yerba de mata drink with orange and agave Miel/honey. The flavor of drink is light and refreshing not sweet. The empemadas were delicious but I think I miss d the meat and ordered the wrong numbers, believe he probably said most after #10 or 12 don't have meat but I understood the opposite maybe that's the green plant on the menu icon. Lol. Anyways for being a carnivore I can appreciate them and tasted great, the cheese flavor was not overbearing or strong or greesy. The dough was different than I expected but was delicious. It is very flaky as someone mentioned, perhaps the ones I've had are more baked and slightly fried or basted. So they were different but still delicious. I was impressed with the monitor, it tasted like what a great Cubano should taste or imagine would taste. While I've never been impressed with cubanos where I've had them I was very much enjoying this. It was simple seemed small but was a god portion size and fresh. It tasted similar the chain that sells smaller sandwiches on ciabiatta bread. I would highly recommend this place."

"As a European, who's only seen American pancakes and diners on shows and films, this was exactly what I was looking for. It is smallish (there are tables outside as well), crowded and has an open kitchen, so you can see and hear almost anything going on. The guy waiting on us was really friendly and helpful (and patient) and we got just what we wanted: eggs, bacon, links, pancakes, coffee and full stomachs. Yes, they charged me for the coffee, but that's normal from where I'm from, and I did get as many refills as I wanted."

"I asked to see the ingredient list, there's canola oil in almost everything! It is also what they have in the frier. The Buddha Bowl didn't have any canola so I ordered that. It's a bed of rice with cubed sweet potato and pineapple, a piece of avocado, roasted corn , chopped chives and toasted almonds. How can you screw that up, right? About 25% of the rice was scraped from the bottom of the pot and was concrete hard!!! The sauce poured into the sweet potatoes was basically just a thick soy sauce, sodium. And the avocado had some brown spots. This place is vegan and therefore marginally better than meat based fast food places for healthy eating. If you want to save the animals, sure, it's good for that. (They got the second start for that). If you don't mind sacrificing your own health, eat here to save the animals. "I have never felt more unwelcome in a place ever. Could not sit at a table by the bar without a server, pain to order a simple beer, and then was told I could not walk around with a beer to check out the place. About walked out before even ordering a beer. Got one unfortunately, drank it in 5 min and got the heck out of there. Never will be back and not a spot I would suggest to go to. In response Just was there an hour ago. Never will be back. Edit changed to 1 star since a week later, I still remember being so disrespected. What about awful place and one of many reasons I plan on never going back the Denver region."

"Everything I have ever eaten at Carelli's is mouth watering. I find myself savoring every sauce, mussel, eggplant parm and I am still amazed how juicy the hamburgers are...even through I have had many over the years I still can say they are the best in Boulder. On my last visit I had the pleasure of enjoying some of the amazing cheeses and olive selections....along with a glass of Champaign and good friends...what more could anyone ask for from a chef, owner, wait staff or community 5 star restaurant? Ok, don't get me started on the amazing desserts!!!! See you there soon!"

"Came here originally hoping to take two orders of the beignets out. Unfortunately the hostess said that the kitchen was overwhelmed and the only way to try the beignets was to wait to dine-in. We were motivated and did just that. Well, as you can imagine, after a twenty minute wait we were ready to eat lunch and the beignets for dessert. Everything was absolutely amazing! The beignets were out of this world, but so were the other parts of our meal. I got the Eggs Jennifer which was a benedict with avocado. My dining partner got the Carlin Country with a side of bananas and cream. Both meals were huge, leaving us both very full. Service was great, and even though it was very busy, the quality of food was high. I recommend this place to anyone visiting/living in Boulder!"

"Terrible service. Forgot to give me the dessert upon payment, I approach the cashier politely and this Argentinean middle age woman got impatient and non helpful at all. When she kept making faces to find my order I told her I would pay again as I didn’t have time and needed to leave. She got worst demanding patience when she should be the one with patience. Not my problem they have no organization nor do their job correctly. That employee or manager have amazing skills at gaslighting customer. Even dare to think is the owner or related to it. Will not come again and will encourage everybody I know not to go. Restaurant comes with experience and this place is a joke. Business make no favor to customers, plenty of places to go around. "The Corner is my favorite option on the hill. You have such a wide selection of delicious dishes; I have tried so many different things on the menu and they are all amazing! The staff is always so friendly and they are very fast and efficient to get the food out. The Corner is also in a perfect location for everyone. "@murphyssouthboulder for lunch. This place wasn’t even on my radar but I was looking for new places to try in Boulder but outside downtown since I didn’t have time to drive there and look for parking. I’m very glad I found Murphy’s. It was nicely upscale but not intimidatingly so. I started with the crab cakes which was really good. No huge chunks of crab but it was absolutely not full of filler. Great flavor and had a very nice crust. The lamb goat cheese burger was also very good; cooked perfectly. I added the onion rings and I’m ecstatic I did. They were really good. I certainly want to explore their menu so I will absolutely be back."

"The restaurant was full and lively. When we showed up with 11 people instead of our 10, as we had reserved, nobody hit an eye. We celebrated our son's CU department and all were delighted with the beer selection and the menu. Very gourmet entrees even closer. The avocado Tartare was unique and my father even made a picture of it! Everyone who ordered the Gumbo was enthusiastic and I enjoyed the Tofu noodle dish. My family talked about our experience there for a few days! A great idea for a group to celebrate any CU activity!"

"I was starving after a long drive to get from one end of town to the other end. and lucky for me this was the closest food place that was non fast food or gas station rubish so I was pleased to find this on Google maps as I searched for burritos near me. I never would have known this place was here until I actually used the Google map app to find it. The staff was very friendly and the place was clean. I enjoyed the burrito that I grabbed on the way out the door to scurry back to the project I was working on. I definitely know I will go back here because I have several jobs in the same area."
