"I will try this place again in a few months and do a follow up review...Location: is slightly challenging to find parking because of the many other businesses in that vicinity. I am giving it a bad rating because the acai blend based was freezer burn. My friends had the same experience as well. Pretty bum to give that rating because I enjoyed the overnight oats and chia pudding. (But sadly the main star is the acai based) They do have a generous selection of toppings though. The staff was friendly and the line/assembly moves quickly. Next time I will give the acai bowl another try and pick some empanadas as well."

"eddie always has great food. everyone in our family likes it. they have a large, diverse menu and service is very good. I love that we can make reservations that I hate to wait for a table. her ribeye with Marsala sauce is one of my favorites. her banana caramel flavor tastes like bananas promote and one of my sons loves the donuts with nutella."

"First timer here and it will not be my last. The food was amazing and it came out in no time (but also was there at 8 something in the morning). I had the Old Timer breakfast with livermush, scrambled eggs, hashbrowns, fruit and toast. Ate everything but half the toast (only because I got too full). My husband got Grandpa's Breakfast and the 11 oz country fried steak (pictured), was big enough for at least 3 people to eat . He also got eggs over medium, hashbrowns and biscuit gravy. He brought home leftovers since he could not finish it all. Will def be back and looking forward to trying their lunch/dinner."

"The delicious smell outside is deceiving. We had the cornbread which just didn't taste right and I had the rib and chicken combo with Memphis ribs and fried chicken with mashed potatoes and green beans. The bbq sauce on the ribs was really good but the rib meat was tough and on the dry side. First time having that style so not sure if that's how it's supposed to be. The chicken was okay; it was super crispy. I didn't expect it to be flat. The mashed potatoes: great; the apple cider gravy was an abomination. Staff were wonderful and attentive. "We came here for the Thanksgiving Day buffet, after previously doing a Sunday Brunch here. The weather was nice, and they have a nice outdoor patio. We really liked the Sunday Brunch, and on Thanksgiving Day they had the usual turkey and stuffing, but also retained some of their Mexican specialties, which we appreciated. Great service from Cielo, and Yadira. Our champagne, and water glasses were never empty. One more instance of great service. We just happened to mention that we missed the churros from the regular Sunday Brunch on the Thanksgiving spread. No problem our serves said. We'll make you some. About 15 minutes later they presented a plate full of warm churros, and ice cream. They really pay attention here, and are really looking to make your visit a great experience."

"I visited The Spot Cafe in Claremont this morning after my morning walk and tried one of their shell salads. It was fantastic! I'll definitely be returning for more. By the way, the owner and staff are really friendly and highly focused on customer service. I also picked up my weekly juice order, and I can confidently say there's no better place to get healthy, fresh, pure juice."

"I 've been going here since it was served out of what looked like a hallway through a small opening over a countertop on paper plates. The table was outside with two plastic chairs. College students could be seen standing around or walking through the village with a slice wrapped by a paper plate. I loved the experience but am SOOOOO....Glad they have evolved into my favorite pizza place. I live in Rancho and have plenty of pizza joints around but I consider it a treat every time I go to Pizzas-N-Such."

"Wow, what a hidden gem! The ambience is lovely inside (though there is also outdoor seating). Inside is dimly lit in a cozy room that makes you feel like you're in an old rustic tavern in Europe somewhere. There's a bartender half-hidden from view at the second level who sends cocktails down through an old dumbwaiter system. The food was fresh and delicious. We had the polenta and fettunta as appetizers. The fried bits of butternut squash in the polenta was a nice touch, and the pesto in the fettunta was en pointe. I had the tagliatelle with crab as my main course, and oh, the pasta is made fresh and you can taste the difference. What an unexpected find! Eating here made me almost feel like I was back in Italy."

"I have cherished my visits to the Candlelight Pavilion throughout the years. I first went there in 2006 when my husband, who was then my boyfriend, took me on our inaugural trip to Southern California. The Candlelight holds a very special place in my heart. I've enjoyed wonderful dinner theater productions there, including their New Year's Eve show featuring performers from the Citrus Singers. It saddens me to learn that the Candlelight will be closing its doors in mid-March after 37 remarkable years. I want to express my gratitude to the Bollinger family for providing exceptional family-oriented entertainment to the Claremont community. Thank you for offering wonderful opportunities to the talented musicians and actors lucky enough to perform on your stage. And thank you for providing countless employment experiences for the many individuals who were part of your staff— their service was outstanding! You've made a significant impact on your community and so many lives over the years. I wish you all abundant blessings as you embark on this next chapter."

"The blind leading the blind. Absolutely horrible experience. I’m writing this review as I feel sick from eating at this place. This location is the Absolute Worst Dog Haus that I’ve ever been to. We ordered a few burgers, sliders, fries, and tots. Everything was luke warm when it came out. The tots and fries were horrible and left a greasy residue on the roof of my mouth. It seems like they haven’t changed the oil on the fries probably for days (the fries were horrible! . The management here is completely ABSENT and it shows. Most of the ketchup bottles were empty, the lid on the iced tea machine was gone and stuff was floating around in the iced tea container, they did not even have Dog Haus branded cups and were using some bootleg clear cups, beers were tapped out, sodas were tapped out (sprite too and they couldn’t be bothered to change the syrup, tables were dirty the whole time we were there. The outdoor heaters? Yup, all of their propanes were empty and they only had 1 working heater (out of like 9 . Clean? Nope. nobody wipes down tables, employees seem bothered when you ask for anything. I asked about the owner and the employees said that they only see the owner about 2 times a year. Such a shame, this dirty, unmanaged restaurant got me sick. Horrible. Stay away or go to the location at Victoria Gardens it’s WAYYYYYYYYYYY BETTER!"

"The food is great, but I have to give this place 2 stars for the service. This past weekend was my first time eating here and I was absolutely not impressed. As soon as my group of 2 was sat, we were ignored for 20 minutes until someone finally took our order. During this in between time, I asked for water as we had not got any brought to our table yet. After the water was brought, the two tables next to us were given water and their orders taken immediately. By this time we didn't get to eat until 40 min later... I was extremely disappointed in this awful customer service. Everyone seemed to be too busy to acknowledge us, the tables next to us got their orders before us, and although the food was great, the customer service made it difficult for me to enjoy my experience at this restaurant. Dissapointed, since i was excited for all their baked options as well."

"They have the best pesto sauce I've ever tasted, and I'm not typically a fan of pesto, but this one is simply amazing. I've tried both the chicken and the salmon, and they were both delicious. The hot wings are also really tasty. The portion sizes are generous, so I often have leftovers. The atmosphere is charming, and there is outdoor seating available, which is a wonderful bonus if you have your dog with you. The service is usually prompt, although they do get quite busy."

"Was a quiet weeknight when we stopped in for dinner. This had been on my list of places to try for some time so I am glad we finally stopped in! We were seated and helped right away and were treated to some springrolls before we even placed our order. We felt very welcome and attended to. We ordered String Beans, Kung Pao Chicken, Orange Chicken and some Fried Rice and all of the food was great. Portion sizes were perfect for two for both dinner and leftovers! They boxed everything up for us and we were in and out in about a half an hour! Would certainly come again and next time early enough to get a boba too!"

"I've been a regular at this restaurant, always ordering the chicken bowl, and I usually visit at least once every couple of weeks. Today, however, I was disappointed; my bowl was significantly underfilled, and the pickles tasted extremely bitter. I called the restaurant to mention the issue with the pickles, and the owner simply replied, "Yeah, sometimes that happens. They're pickles." What? Has this restaurant followed in Chipotle's footsteps with underfilled portions and declining quality? I used to really enjoy this place, but I might need to start checking out other Mediterranean options."

"I visited this restaurant today to celebrate my daughter's birthday. The drinks offered are unique and absolutely delicious. On Thursdays, they have a special drink that’s definitely worth trying. We shared the nachos topped with chicken, and they were great! The burgers also looked appetizing. The restaurant is located in an old building in a trendy area of the city. There aren't many seats available, so I recommend making a reservation. The prices are on the higher side, but the experience is worthwhile."

"My husband, myself, and a couple of good friends dined at 50 Fifty Asian Fusion in Claremont, last night for the first time as per my suggestion. We do a podcast in the area on most Saturdays and after the podcast we go to dinner most of the time. I’m the one that scouts out different restaurants and makes the reservations etc. When I called to make the reservation,Joyce, the owner was the one that answered the phone. She was so lovely over the phone. We also had the pleasure of meeting her in person at the restaurant. She is really a lovely lady and adds to the atmosphere. My husband said that it’s evident that she truly cares about her craft. I agree with him whole heartedly. We started with an order of Chickn Wings as an appetizer that we shared, those were very good. Two of us in our party , including myself, ordered the short ribs. These short ribs were the best I have had at any restaurant, so delicious. My husband tried some of my short ribs and he said they were fantastic. He also said that they were the best he’s ever had. One of our friends , ordered the pork loin, which he enjoyed. However, he also said that the short ribs were fantastic as did the other person that ordered it. My husband ordered the spicy noodles , with shrimp which he also enjoyed. The ambience /aesthetics of the restaurant is very pleasing. The prices are reasonable. The service was good. Our waiter was very nice and polite. He also brought the appetizer before we our Entrees. He brought the Entree’s shortly thereafter. All of us really appreciated his timing. We’ve been to restaurants where the servers will bring out the appetizers at the same time or after we’ve ordered the Entrees, which is silly. My husband made another observation, that the staff was wearing gloves and hair nets. I really wish more restaurants would do this. This is definitely a restaurant that the 4 of us all said we want to return to."

"I happened to be driving by when I noticed people enjoying their meals in an outdoor bistro setting. Curious, I decided to take a look inside and discovered this charming little cafe filled with exquisite pastries. The menu offers a wide variety of options for breakfast, brunch, and lunch, along with an impressive selection of coffees, beers, and wines. I initially intended to just grab a refreshing drink, but I ended up ordering the avocado toast with a side salad, and everything was fresh and delicious. "This is the second year in a row that I came to the restaurant for my birthday on my own, and I was once again treated absolutely beautifully. The halibut special was incredible, and the bar nailed my request for a Hemingway daiquiri. My server, Drew, was engaging and friendly and made sure I had everything that my heart desired. "We visited this restaurant for a family lunch to celebrate the life of a loved one who cherished it, and it truly lived up to our expectations. The service was excellent! Among all the dishes we ordered, the “Cozze e Vongole” was the highlight, with its sauce perfectly complementing the freshly baked bread. The desserts were beautifully presented and made a delightful addition to our meal. The restaurant offers a vibrant outdoor patio, a cozy garden space, and a beautifully decorated main dining area. While, as noted by other reviewers, the prices are on the higher side, they are still justified by the quality. Keep in mind that they do not accept reservations, so plan accordingly before your visit. Overall, we had a great experience and will definitely return."
