"We are on an extended road trip and have stopped at all kinds of restaurants. I 'm especially sensitive to how hard servers are working these days and how many establishments are still short-staffed. Mindful of this, I 'm writing this review because of the incredible server, Janine. Our server got a little behind and Janine stepped in and got things rolling. It happens and it was dinner time. Our server got slammed. Perhaps, Jeanine saw the hunger in our eyes but she came over, asked if she could help, and did. Presto! She immediately brought hot fresh biscuits which staved off the hangries. We got our food exactly as ordered; Crispy hash browns and yummy Bob Evans sausage. We like to eat breakfast for dinner and Bob Evans is perfect. Thank you Janine! I hope Bob Evans knows what a jewel they have in you."

"For vegetarians, they have one of the best veggie dogs I’ve ever tasted, along with many other vegetarian choices. I dined in for lunch, and the meal cost around $10–20 per person. I would rate the food a perfect 5/5, the service a 5/5, and the atmosphere also a 5/5. Some recommended dishes include the Reuben Dog, Hog Dog, Chicago Dog, and Parm Fries. I highly recommend this place for vegetarians, as they have a large selection of vegetarian offerings, all clearly labeled."

"The staff were very responsive and provided great service. The food was delivered quickly. Most of my party seemed pretty happy with their meals. I struck out it seems. I had a cup of the tortilla soup and one Chile relleno. The soup was OK, but it contained a lot of little inedible brown bits that made it unpleasant to eat The Chile relleno is something I get often at Mexican restaurants. The one from Torero's tasted freezer burnt. I was only able to eat a small portion of it. It wasn't good."

"I don't know why this place isn't busier. The food was great, the atmosphere was nice (if a little bright), and the service was prompt. We went on a Saturday at 6:00 p.m. and the place was almost empty. It's not the most intuitive place to find, but it is pretty prominently placed. They do seem to do a lot of takeout, so that's good.I'm not an expert in Indian food, and if you asked me whether this is authentic or not, I'd have no idea. I just know what I like. For apps, we had the Chicken Momo and Lamb Kali Mirch. Both were very tasty, though the sauce for the Chicken Momo could've used some extra kick.For dinner we had Zaika Mixed Grill with Spinach Potatoes rave reviews, especially for the Spinach; Chicken Makhni delicious, but a little bland for me since the diner chose mild!; Lamb Boti Kebab w/Seasonal Vegetables the vegetables were super fresh and perfectly sauteed, just the right spiciness as well; Lamb Kerala Curry also yummy. In all cases, the rice was cooked to perfection. We also shared the Garlic Naan which was very good.The greatest part about Zaika for us is the vast number of gluten and dairy free options on the menu. You simply can't get that many options (and have them still be tasty) from any of the other restaurants nearby.We'll definitely be back and I hope others will start to come in. That particular space has had several different restaurants in it over the years. I hope Zaika doesn't suffer their fate. They've already got much more going for them than the other restaurants ever did."

"A true gem in Erie! I ordered the calamari based on recommendations from Google, and it was an excellent choice! The seafood had a great spicy flavor, complemented by some vegetables that made for a fantastic appetizer. For the main course, I had the poke bowl, which was, without a doubt, the best poke I’ve ever tasted. It came with a generous portion of salmon and tuna over a modest bed of rice. The fish was enhanced by a light sauce, and each bite was an explosion of flavor and freshness. The dish was beautifully garnished with seaweed, avocado, and some pickled vegetables. It was a wonderful meal—5 out of 5 stars!"

"My friends picked this as a dinner spot to meet. I ordered a martini it turns out there is no bar. There is only a small selection of wine and beer. These are brand such as Cavit so definitely not anything extravagant. As I was headed to the restroom I meet a server in tears she is hyperventilating and crying in the hallway. I feel terrible this woman should definitely go home and take care of herself. Instead she proceeded to work and cry the entire time while serving tables. This was throughout my entire meal. The food was okay again nothing I would rush to come back for. Our server was very kind and personable just very busy. I think there are a lot of improvements that could be made to this restaurant."

"We enjoyed our dinner and cocktails at the Shoreline Bar and Grill. We loved the view of Lake Erie from our table. Beautiful sunset. Food was delicious, dessert was amazing! Our waitress Jennifer (Jen) was wonderful. There were only 2 waitresses and no hostess on duty the night we dined. The F&B manager stepped in to help. Tables were full and the girls did their best to keep the guests happy. Good job ladies! Parking: Plenty of parking in parking garage"

"Good Stuff: The tapas and main course were pretty good. I wouldn 't say amazing, but tasty. Service we good, I suppose this has to do with who ends up helping you, but our waiter was nice and attentive.Bad Stuff: The atmosphere isn 't great. We went here on our once in a blue moon date night hoping for something romantic. However the restaurant is upstairs in an office building. It felt a little bit like eating inside a dentist office. There wasn 't music or nice lighting, so not quite the romantic vibe we were going for. Drinks were weak. Not trying to get sloshed or anything, but if you pay $15 for a drink, I would expect it to be like a high quality cocktail at a fancy bar, not a glass of lemonade with a tiny bit of diluted vodka. Like I said, food was pretty good (but pricey! . However the desert we picked was not so good.We got a chocolate cake thing with ice cream. Turns out the ice cream was vegan. Now- I have nothing against vegan, but let 's face it, vegan ice cream is gross. It was served with real whip cream, so the vegan bit was more of a trendy, let 's be like Boulder thing than a consideration for vegan people.People go to restaurants like this for the experience, not just to eat food. A nice vibe, quality adult beverages, and tasty desert make the restaurant experience. Needless to say, I was pretty disappointed.Bottomline- Not a place we will return to. For a regular family, it was very expensive and the experience over all was not worth the cost."

"My wife and I were seated upon entering the establishment by Mary. She had asked if we had a reservation and we said yes, Mary said my first name Mark and as a joke I interjected, yes, Mark Smitti, Haha. Treasure came to the table to offer us something to drink with a water bottle and 2 glasses, which we appreciated. We used our Diners Club Card and she thanked us for having it out for her to see. She then explained what we couldn't use the card for and told about the appetizers and specials for the day. Treasure took our order and delivered our drinks. The food was exceptional, the fish tacos were fabulous from the presentation to the taste of well blended flavors that excited the palette. the house salad was just the right size and had an excellent array of greens, tomatoes, onions and cucumbers. I got the fried chicken with fries which included 3 pcs of the most lightly seasoned fried chicken. A drum stick. thigh and breast. was hard to tell it was fried. My wife got Poulè Sautè; boneless chicken breast sautèed with artichoke, sundried tomato, baby spinach smothered with creamy Havarti cheese. mashed potato vegetable. Portion size was perfect for both meals. We topped it off with Pineapple Eddie; Vanilla Almond poundcake served with fresh pineapple sauce, vanilla ice cream, house-made rum sauce. The overall experience was fantastic, we will be back. "Is the third time I have ever been in a Chick-fil-A. Food was very tasty. Service was excellent. As far as fast food, no one can beat Chick-fil-A. As far as their friendliness their service and their atmosphere. It's the difference between a Ford and a Cadillac. They smile, they greet you, they take your tray. They ask if there's anything more you would like. If you ever got that service in McDonald's you'd fall over on the floor. McDonald's, Burger King and Wendy's needs to take a note. "A friend had told me about this place. My mom loves seafood so I thought a place called 'calamari 's ' would be perfect. I was stunned that they had a tuna salad sandwich on their lunch menu and that was all the seafood that was offered. It was during Lent, too. The place is dark and has the open ductwork like a Buffalo, NY trendy eatery (lol). But my turkey burger was good and not overcooked. Mom like her BBQ pork flatbread. They have an extensive beer menu! And eclectic cocktails. There wereany families here for lunch. They were showing SportCenter on the TV so it has a sports bar vibe."

"Was nice to be able to eat at Perkins again since they closed the one in my hometown. They put in another that I tried 3 times and well didn't live up to the expection of being a good place to eat without issues each time. At least with Perkins you can get consistent quality of food no matter what restaurant you stop at. Staff was friendly and helpful when trying to decide what to choose. Definitely will stop there again, the pie was delicious too!!"

"Wow, I ordered the meatloaf dinner and they served a whole meatloaf in a large bowl, accompanied by mashed potatoes and gravy. It was delicious! They also provided a separate bowl of green beans with bacon, which was about 8 ounces. My wife had the shrimp basket that came with fresh-cut fries and baked beans. Everything was great, except for the baked beans; they could have used some enhancement, like brown sugar, molasses, and some of the bacon from the green beans. Speaking of which, the green beans were packed with bacon pieces! We were able to use our diners' card, and my wife's meal was free. We'll definitely be back; we visit quite often with our weekly dining group."

"I can't say enough about my first experience at Animal Circle. What a warm and welcoming atmosphere! There was a lively buzz and nothing but good vibes. My coffee cup was always full, and the chorizo was a standout recommendation from the staff; I was grateful for it, as the meal wouldn’t have been the same without it. The pancakes were just the right texture—perfectly chewy (they could easily thrive as a breakfast spot just for pancakes, and they nailed it!). The locals at the next table shared entertaining conversation, and Samantha, the owner, had a fantastic rapport with both the staff and the diners. The thick slices of rye toast rounded out the meal perfectly. The prices were very reasonable. I felt like I had just joined a family I never knew I needed! After this extraordinary experience, I will definitely be a loyal customer and spread the word about this amazing breakfast spot. Thank you, and I’ll be back soon!"

"The food at this restaurant is consistently well-prepared and fresh. However, recently the prices for lunch have increased significantly while the portion sizes have decreased drastically. For example, my friend ordered a dish with two crab cakes but did not receive a salad, and my steak entree was much smaller than usual. Additionally, the side salad that came with my meal was very small for the price. It's a shame that the excellent value for money we used to receive is no longer the case. We will be exploring other dining options in the future. Food: 3 stars."

"This was our first time stopping in since the expansion. It's so much more spacious now. The beer is still excellent, and the food was good. I had the Lavery Burger with beer cheese, it was good, but the beer cheese was an unnecessary pick on my part because the burger sauce is really good and the beer cheese sort of covered it up. The pizza was unavailable when I ordered, or I would have tried that. My husband ordered the roulette tacos, chefs choice. They were spicy pork tacos that he said were very good. Service at the bar was quick, and we didn't wait long for our food."

"This is a lovely restaurant with a cozy, homey atmosphere. Although the service was a bit slow due to having only two waitresses, they did their best and managed our wait time well. We hardly waited at all, and the coffee was exceptional, with our cups never being empty. The breakfast food was fantastic, and the cinnamon roll was particularly delicious. Overall, a delightful experience!"
