"We got a to go order of turkey and chopped brisket, and cleaned them out of baked beans (it was an hour before they closed for 2 days). Everything was delicious especially that turkey! We're originally from KC, so we're pretty picky about our meat. I eat my meat without sauce, but my husband said it was good. The baked beans were amazing. My only change would be to add a little more spice to the beans at the beans and cornbread bar. We'll be back!"

"Randomly spotted this place on the map as I was stopping to get gas, and I'm really glad I did. Their pho is as good as any I've had. Really flavorful broth, plus you get all the usual fixings to put in and spice it up. The meat was really tender and the Thai basil was surprisingly fresh. And their large bowl was truly large, which I always appreciate. Highly recommend for anyone who wants a warm, filling meal on their way through the mountains or coming home from skiing!"

"However, the standout dish was definitely the Sakura roll. It featured tempura shrimp, mango, avocado, spicy tuna, and possibly some other fish, all drizzled with a delicious savory sauce and topped with jalapeño slices. Every bite of this roll was delightful; it had a nice balance of savory flavors, not overly sweet or spicy. I added a bit of soy sauce and chili oil, which made it even better. The tempura coating remained perfectly crunchy throughout. While the restaurant's exterior resembles a typical strip mall and the interior is quite plain, I'm actually pleased they prioritized their culinary skills over decor. The service was decent, nothing particularly noteworthy, but overall, I really enjoyed my visit to this restaurant."

"We used to frequent other local pizza places and will never go back since finding Bella Capri. Unlike other restaurants, where the food depends on who's the chef for the night, this pizza is the same every time! A genuine pizza with full flavors. Every time we go, we know we're coming home with amazing takeout! I absolutely love the taste of this pizza, which resembles NY real Italian pizza! Which others claim to have, but this pizza meets my high standards of pizza. Also, I LOVE getting the cookies! Makes me feel like a child in NY at a party with real fresh, amazing cookies! Don't see these things after around here! Maybe if I go often enough, they will add sugar powdered zeppolis to the menu or make me a special batch!"

"The Vodka Martini I ordered was terrible. When I asked about it, they informed me that they use rum instead of vodka. I questioned why they would use rum in a Vodka Martini, and they explained that they do things a little differently there. "We eat here quite often. They have a great variety to choose from on their menu with something for everyone. Their pricing is a bit high though to be honest. They just moved from the other location and I thought they were closed and shut down for good and I was really depressed, I had to get my bike repaired which is right next to Frankie's new location and when I saw that Frankie's was there I was elated Beyond elation!!!!! If you want lasagna or you just want a slice of pizza and you want a good quality Pizza or ravioli or whatever it is that you want you want it somewhat quickly this is a place to go for lunch or dinner went there today had to lasagna dish and it was really piping-hot really love this place is a cool place to go to I'm pretty sure it's family-owned so it's not a place where you're going to go and find food that's not scratch I think the food they make it there from scratch really enjoyed it so you should go out and check it out. What people dont understand is that is special made pizza that you dont have to fly to New York to get. We are luck to have this joint. THANK GOD FOR THIS PLACE."

"My daughter and I had went to Georgetown last weekend to check out a few places to host her baby shower in April and we walked into Laurie’s cafe to check it out and we spoke to the owner Beth she seemed very welcoming and even offered to move some tea sets off a table but we liked them so we told her she didn’t have too. We discussed a few things and we were very excited to come back and try the food because we had already had lunch that day at another restaurant we were checking out so we told her we would come back and check out the food so that we could make our final choice on where we were going to host it so today Saturday February 24th we went to lunch there my daughter her fiancé and my mother and I to check it out we drove 45 minutes or so and we had high hopes and really had our heart set on holding it at this location. When we arrived the sign clearly states seat yourself anywhere you like so we did we picked a round table with a Pilar next to it so it would sit 5 people maybe and we had 4 I had stepped away to use the ladies room and when I came back I had noticed that the owner was at our table and I thought she had remembered us and maybe came over to talk about the baby shower but no she was asking us to move to a smaller table My daughter is 39 weeks pregnant tomorrow we wanted the bigger table for more room for her and for us to not feel so cramped The restaurant maybe had 2 tables with customers and was not busy We did move however I have a big issue with this treatment!! Why have a sign that says sit anywhere if you are going to have a problem with where we sit Also they had other options if a 5 or 6 people table came in so I don’t see what the big deal was or why she felt the need to approach the table in that way it’s a good thing I was in the restroom when she first came over or else we probably would’ve walked out!! We didn’t deserve to be treated that way and she even came out and talked to other tables but never to us mind you no other big parties came in while we were dining!!! A one person sat at a 4 top table but they were not asked to move to a two top table!! She never thanked us for moving tables or came by our table to see how everything was. She seemed more aggravated that we were even eating at her restaurant. I don’t understand why we were treated that way either as we didn’t deserve it we were only doing what the sign said and picked a table to sit at!! The more I think about it the more annoyed I get and I wish I would’ve said more and stood up for all of us and most importantly my daughter who is very pregnant and needed the space of a bigger table. The restaurant had plenty of options for other large parties!! I feel disrespected and mistreated and the way she presented herself today was WRONG on so many levels! Do not support this restaurant and the rude owner!!! The food was ok I did like a lot of what I ordered however the coconut cream pie I ordered for my mom and I to share didn’t seem cooked completely and it lacked flavor. My bill was over $85 for 4 plates and two desserts and two drinks and I feel for what we got it was WAY overpriced!! After the way we were treated we will NOT be hosting it at Laurie’s Cafe!! We decided to go with Sweet Lemon Kitchen and will be paying them close to $900 so next time BETH treat your customers better because you never know that could have been a good thing for your restaurant to host us and your waitstaff!!!! Don’t go to this place if your out in the Georgetown area Check out the many other places and the sweet lemon kitchen!!!!!"

"The cool crispness of an October day. The scent of woodsmoke filling the air. The crunch of leaves underfoot. Pumpkins, ghosts, and ghouls. These are the hallmarks of fall, a magical time of year when cozying up with loved ones and enjoying traditional holiday dishes is a must. My wife and I stumbled upon a charming eatery during a leisurely drive through a historic Colonial town in Connecticut. Located on Route 7, with a massive pink Ice Cream Cone as its iconic marker, Heibeck's has been serving up ice cream and burgers since 1931. The food here is truly exceptional, with all-beef hot dogs that are a standout favorite. The Doe Doe Dog, topped with pickle rounds, mayo, and diced tomato, is a must-try. The burgers, fries, and tacos also looked delicious, but it's the hot dogs that steal the show, having won the title of Best Hot Dog in Connecticut in 2018. And don't even get me started on the Apple Pie Ice Cream - it's sinfully good. The service is excellent and the staff are friendly and happy to be there. The place is immaculately clean, and they are now open year-round, which is a nice surprise. While there are some vegetarian options, Heibeck's is really all about burgers and hot dogs. It may not be the most vegan-friendly spot, as they focus on deep-fried goodness. Parking can fill up quickly, and the outdoor seating may be a bit cramped for wheelchair accessibility. Overall, a fantastic spot for a delicious lunch that we will definitely be returning to. Brilliant!"

"First time experience I am absolutely in love! A new favorite excited to go again soon! The menu is very extensive which is great having wide variety. Everything was presented so beautifully with warm wishes from our hostess. The atmosphere was quietdespite having several customers which was nice inviting. Every dish had such wonderful delicate flavors which is a blessing a great change up from other places where it is overwhelming at times. I highly recommend the Love Boat which gives a decentamount for two allows the chef to surprise you with their choice of sushi. It also came with your choice of soup a salad ofcarrot ginger. The salad was such a pleasant surprise as it was light, refreshing, had a delicately sweet flavor. The hintof flavoring was such a perfect pairing for a salad one highly recommend to try. To top it off, their Plum wine was absolutelyexquisite! A beautifully robust plum flavor with a subtle hint of the alcohol gives you a great wine to indulge in for just aglass. Be aware that one glass is enough to tide you over. After less than 10 sips you will feel the effects. Their hot tea wasa warm gentle paring to offset the wine cuisine that had a delicate Jasmine flavor. Such a pleasant experience for abeautiful niche in the wall. Thank you so much!"

"In 2006 my family was on a road trip to Washington DC from Los Angeles. We stopped in Georgetown and had the Mart Man pizza at Mountainbuzz pizzeria. At the time only one employee worked there which was Mart man himself. It was one of the greatest pizzas I had. After that meal we got back on the road only for me to realize we were going the wrong way. I told my dad. He said he was sure we were going the right way. After a few minutes on the highway and passing a couple of familiar rocks, I made a deal with my dad. If I was right and we were going the wrong way, then he would drive back to Georgetown and we would have pizza. We had another Martian pizza for dinner that day. We also got to see the railroad and mines the following day. I still think of Georgetown and Mountainbuzz pizzeria to this day. I’ve recommended it to all my friends who happen to drive through the Rockys. If you’re ever just passing through make sure to stop by and get a slice. You won’t regret the small town vibes and the absolute best slice of pizza."

"I recently visited this charming little restaurant and was eager to check it out. Upon entering, I was struck by how unique and cozy the ambiance was. It was great to see how well the staff worked together, and their politeness and helpfulness were truly refreshing in today's world. I ordered Ahi tuna while my husband opted for a steak. "Wow. This is in the old Papa Johns/ Mambo House, but gutted and reinvented as a lovely Latin (multi country) venue. The people are as friendly and courteous as can be. The airy interior has solid Spanish furniture tables adorned with fresh flowers. Jorge Alcocer was a Four Seasons chef turned restauranteur, finally having realized his dream of having his own restaurant. The food is out of this world It's even healthy, but don't let that deter you it's delicious! Jorge is a master at salad creations. We are here on a Sunday: $15 brunch/person a fresh buffet with a variety of Latin delicacies we especially enjoyed platanos, kale quinoa salad, then ordered waffles fire roasted problems rajas from the menu (included in the price)! Bottomless coffee, tea and lemonade are also included. This place will not disappoint and it has something for everyone!"

"The outdoor dining area is lovely, and honestly, that's the only highlight of Country Boy. My son and I had lunch here today, and the food left a lot to be desired. We ordered BBQ sandwiches and potato salad. I specifically asked if they had a sweet BBQ sauce before ordering, and was assured that they did. However, when my sandwich arrived, it was so spicy that I couldn't eat it. The bun was dry and tasted stale. I hoped the potato salad would salvage the meal, but unfortunately, the potatoes were undercooked and the dish was just as disappointing as the sandwich, all for over $40! I would strongly recommend that you stick to what you do best—beer!"

"Stopped in here with a party of 4 after doing the touristy train ride and mine tour. By the time we got to the restaurant, we were ready to consume our own body parts. Yeah...we were hungry. It's July 4th weekend, so everything is busier than normal. The restaurant was bustling and it was definitely after prime time lunch hour. They brought us to the downstairs seating...which is very interesting: low ceilings, a pool table and an out of tune piano on the back wall. German writing along the ceiling beams and other writing on the actual ceiling. We learned that they don't usually open up the downstairs....only during busy weekends. The appetizers were great: chips with guacamole, chips with queso and loaded nachos. The main dishes? Meh. They were just OK: -Fajitas were not quite hot enough and the corn tortillas were extremely dry (inedible to the person that ordered them). She ordered the corn tortillas b/c she is gluten free but they brought flour by accident....oopsie. -Steak tacos were good...solid reviews there -Enchiladas had to be re-done b/c they put the wrong kind in...so she had to wait a while for her meal while the rest of us ate. -I had the fish tacos.....they were decent...but there was way too much cheese on it. I didn't think that there was supposed to be cheese on them....but I might have misread the menu. Also, my rice and black beans were really cold. Appetizers came right away but it took an extremely long time for our entrees to arrive. Didn't try any of the adult bevvies but they looked good. I would give this place another shot at some point if I'm in the area again...even with the snafus. Nice staff...and our waiter was new. He tried/did the best he could."

"I had the ham chop served with grits, roasted onions, and a red-eye gravy. It sounded rich and salty, but it wasn’t at all! The chop was the most delicately smoked piece of meat I’ve ever had, and it was a generous portion—I could barely finish half of it. The grits were delicious, bursting with corn flavor. The red-eye gravy had a bold coffee taste that wasn't overwhelming. The fried onion rings were a delightful addition; they were thickly sliced, perfectly crispy, and not too greasy. I typically don’t eat pork except for ham as a last resort, but this dish changed my perspective. I realized I enjoy ham when it’s well-prepared without being overly salty or smoky. My husband ordered the beef stroganoff. The pasta was cooked to perfection, and the sauce was smooth, not overly thick, complemented by a delightful hint of crème fraîche. The beef tips were tender and juicy, without being overcooked. Dessert was fantastic as well. The bread pudding was buttery and creamy, drizzled with bourbon sauce. Everything here is so good that this has quickly become my favorite restaurant in Georgetown. If you’re planning to explore the Bourbon Trail, be sure to add this restaurant to your list of must-visit places."

"This is no doubt my favorite spot for Mexican food in Georgetown! I’ve been many times over the past 2 years and everything has been delicious. Their barbacoa torta is one of the best sandwiches I’ve ever had and their tacos are delicious as well! I’d especially recommend the birria and the cochinita pibil tacos. Additionally, their spicy red sauce is super tasty and spicy! The homemade tortillas also help make the tacos stand out. They have weekly specials that are amazing, like the quesabirria or chipotle steak tacos, so make sure to ask about the special. The staff is always very friendly and helpful. This is a really easy place to miss while you’re driving down Williams Drive, but it’s always worth the visit."
