"My last two experiences at Pearls have been nothing short of a nightmare! They sold me burnt shrimp egg foo young, and when I called to express my concerns, they gave me a really hard time before finally addressing the issue, even questioning if it was good. I told them I’m not a dog and don’t eat burnt food. Tonight, my order was largely the same, except I also ordered two TNT rolls/sushi. Everything was unpleasant except for the rolls. I’m done! I will never return."

"The food here is unquestionably amazing; however, the experience I just had makes me question if I will return. I was really craving Crisp Chik’n tonight because, like I said, it’s amazing food. I knew they would be closing soon, but we showed up 20 minutes before close, expecting that would respectfully be enough time. We walked in and walked over to the counter, starting the ordering process. Two minutes later, someone came up to us saying they were already closed, which confused us since Google said closing time was 9pm. We mentioned this, to which this individual responded “We start ‘pre-closing’ at 8:40.” I try to be understanding, but denying customers service 20 minutes before closing is outrageous. We were quite taken aback by this and took our business to Chick-fil-A instead."

"Our waitress Storm, was very attentive to our dining needs. We did not need reservations and was waited on immediately, upon arrival on New Year’s Eve. The food was served hot and she made sure our tea and coffee glass/cup was refilled without us asking her. The food was seasoned well and tasty, especially the vegetables and soup. The French fries was fried well done, or crispy. My husband and friend enjoyed dining at the Empire Diner and will go back to dine there again without reservation. "8/15/2023 will be a night my taste buds will remember forever! I apos;ve placed several orders from CK since moving to Drexel Hill and I always order a cheesesteak. I normally order directly but tonight I chose to use Door Dash. I selected my normal fixings Mayo, Kethup, Fried Onions, Salt Pepper. This time, I changed up a bit and added bacon and toasted the roll. What I received was not just a sandwich it was a work of art. All ingredients were fresh, grilled and seasoned to perfection, then place inside a customized CK box. Thanks to the Dasher for getting it to me quickly and safely. I also ordered a Crab Cake Sandwich for my lady which she absolutely loved."

"I had an amazing experience at this restaurant! I took my girlfriend there for her birthday, and they really went all out for us. Our waitress, Rejeanna, was very personable and friendly; she truly went the extra mile to ensure we had a wonderful time. I can't believe the place isn't busier! The new manager, Sachin, clearly makes an effort to create a welcoming and comfortable environment. The drinks were fantastic, the food was delicious, the atmosphere was enjoyable, and the music was great. Everything was just perfect. I will definitely be returning and making this a regular spot!"

"I've been to this restaurant a few times each season since it opened a couple of years ago. The service is always friendly, and the gelato is consistently delicious. However, it is a bit more expensive than some other gelato spots in Delco, and the portion sizes seem a bit smaller. Because of that, I would slightly deduct half a star from my rating."

"It was really good. the sauce was surprisingly very tasty. they give you A LOT of pasta despite missing my request of penne instead of spaghetti. only disappointment was they use chicken fingers. had this been a cutlet the meal wouldve been perfect in my opinion. you also get garlic bread and a small side salad. it has peppers onions tomatoes cucumbers and lettuce nice for side salad plenty of dressing as well. Definitely would recommend"

"June 2022-I don't say that often because I'm especially about ingredients in my food, but my husband and I came from New Jersey to try their famous cheese steak during an event. And OH MY GAWD this was so delicious!!!. we both ordered a cheese steak with the works made from bacon, wiz cheese, mushrooms, paprika, salad, tomatoes, onions, some other type of cheese and other toppings I could not remember. (The vegetables gave their balance) And the meat was piled!! For 2 sandwiches and a drink I spent near $30, but it was WORTH IT. Service was also great as my husband and I like, each tourist asked so many y questions about what put on them and etc... and a bigger guy was so patient with us. I will say we thought that this place was CLOSED so down due to the external search, but I could take care less as long as they hygienic procedures during cooking and eating taste great... we tried Leo's and Ishkabibbles before this and they do NOT COMPARE... I am in Philly. I definitely want the city to help them in front of the shop, though like a petition or something. I would like to see this, but if that's how they want to keep it for some reason, no complaints here!!!"

"I would rate this restaurant a solid 3.5 stars! I really enjoyed the ability to customize my veggie burger, and it was fresh, featuring a high-quality meat alternative. The prices are also quite reasonable! However, I felt that the quality of my order suffered a bit due to the delivery time; I didn’t expect the fries to be hot since they are usually best enjoyed fresh out of the fryer. Next time, I plan to either dine in or order for pickup, as that would likely improve the experience. I'm definitely interested in giving them another shot. If you’re on the lookout for a varied menu, late-night options, or a spot where everyone can find something they like—particularly in terms of burgers—I highly recommend checking them out."

"I was unable to dine at this restaurant, so I picked up a slice of pizza for my friend. She really enjoyed it, but the menu options are limited for those who avoid dairy, beef, and pork. This may not be the best choice for you if you have dietary restrictions. The food contains dairy in almost every dish. In terms of parking, there is plenty of free street parking available. The takeout service was okay, but it would be better if they offered more options for those with dietary restrictions. The recommended dishes are the Pepperoni Pizza and Zesty Pizza. Overall, the food was rated a 4, service a 3, and atmosphere a 3. Prices range from $10 to $20 per person for dinner."

"I really wish I had seen the reviews before I ordered. We got 1 small cheese pizza, 1 5 piece garlic sauce wings, 1 5 piece mango habanero wings. The pizza was awful and is basically cafeteria pizza Id expect to get it from a local high school, not a restaurant. The sauces are very watery. I picked up the containers to remove the bags and the sauces leaked out of the container and onto my phone and clothes. Absolutely horrible. Either make your sauces thicker, or use better containers so theres no leakage. I will admit though that the sauces tasted better than I expected....not great, but decent."

When my order arrived, they had slathered honey mustard all over my buffalo wings and drizzled BBQ sauce on my buffalo fingers. After my family brought this to their attention, the staff did the right thing and offered to replace my order, promising to fix the mistake. However, the new order still wasn't correct; I received fried chicken wings and fried chicken fingers instead. They included hot sauce and BBQ sauce on the side, but the receipt clearly stated buffalo wings with all flats and five buffalo fingers. "

I haven't had a bad meal there, but seems like sometimes the cook decides what they want to make up instead of following what's listed on the menu. Wheelchair accessibility: Access to this is fully accessible, however, the bathrooms are less than desirable and there is not enough room for a wheelchair to get into a stall or really into the bathroom."

"I discovered Jamey?s House of Music when I bought tickets to an event earlier this year. I can say with some degree of certainty that the moment I stepped foot in the place that I had stumbled onto something truly unique and wonderful. Reminded me of some of the Chicago blues bars that I love but here it was tucked away in a sleepy little borough on the edge of Philly. The place is cozy and warm. Features a bar and a wonderful menu. The place is also spotless unlike some of those Chicago Blues bars that I love. The room features amazing sound thanks to Jamey. (yes there is a Jamey and he is on premises mixing the sound) Clearly music is his passion as he hosts and plays at the Sunday Blues Brunch where anyone who loves music can take the stage and jam. I had the pleasure of meeting Jamey and he was gracious enough to allow me to host my very own blues show to celebrate my birthday. I booked my very favorite Philly band The Groove Merchants literally proceeded to burn the place down with their unique Blues, Funk and Soul infused sound. The night was truly epic thanks to the perfect venue and amazing artists that I had the privilege to join in the celebration. If you love live music and you have not found this place I suggest you look at the calendar and pick out an event to see or simply join me as a semi regular at the Sunday Blues Brunch. Thanks Jamey for providing a place like this."
