"I went inside to speak with the woman at the counter, explaining that I received the wrong order. She told me she would consult the manager. After waiting for another 15 minutes without a word, the manager finally approached me. I explained the situation: my daughter picked up an order because they couldn't find mine. I showed her my phone with the large order confirmation.
Without addressing my concerns, she retraced her steps to the back and returned with my actual order, which was indeed there all along. I expressed my surprise, thinking they had to remake it. However, she responded, “I don’t understand why you had an attitude with me; I never said anything to you.” I was taken aback, wondering when I had shown any attitude. I had waited patiently for 15 minutes without raising my voice or using any foul language.
She dismissed me with a cheerful, “Have a good day!” and “Bye bye!” I left, frustrated and confused, not wanting to cause a scene. I usually support employees in customer service, but this experience was unnecessary and upsetting. This was my first visit inside the restaurant, and it will definitely be my last. I was very disappointed in the manager's behavior. If this is how they handle mistakes and miscommunications, I pity the customers. Management needs to do better. By the way, they also forgot my chips and queso, but it wasn't worth going back for that!"
