"Wow! What a gem. We stopped here for dinner and dessert and just had to come back for breakfast, and everything was exceptional. The soft serve ice cream (made with oat milk) that they have is my favorite vegan ice cream that I have ever had. It's amazing. They have shaded and comfy outdoor seating. For dinner we had the chili soup, some garlic bread, the Guadalajara burger, and the Chupacabra Chic'n sandwich. Everything was super full of flavor and delicious. For desert, we got an ice cream to split and a slice of chocolate cake. The ice cream was absolutely wonderful. The cake was the weakest point of the meal, a little dry. But, it was still tasty. We knew during dinner that we just had to come back for breakfast (and more ice cream). We ordered a bagel sandwich and a tostada. My partner loved his sandwich. He gave me a piece of the tofu on it, and I normally don't like tofu that isn't very crispy, but was super tasty and flavorful. My tostada had a bunch of guac on it (not just a tiny scoop like some places do), and the flavors of the beans and guac were rich. The jalapeños added a nice kick (although, I'm sure you could get it without them if you don't like spicy). The ice cream was, again, amazing. I also got an agua fresca that was really pleasant on the hot morning. The staff members were very nice, were happy to answer any of our questions, and were generally quite helpful. 10/10"

"We had a nice time at dinner but I'm just shocked at the prices of everything. I had a bowl of angel hair pasta with marinara sauce and a couple pieces of cut up asparagus and I paid over $25.00, my husband had pesto fettuccine with sausage and he found the sausage to be dry and not good. The dinner special was a whitefish with mashed potatoes and asparagus and I usually never ask how much but did this time and it was $48.00...really? Happy hour there is always good but we won't be back for dinner. Service was great and it's not the fault of the waiters...dinner for 3 with one person drinking water, a house wine and a beer and it was over $200.00."

"Our waters never went empty! Somebody was always on the lookout, ready to refill that was really nice to have, especially at a restaurant in the desert. The food was immaculate the waiter was incredibly friendly. I normally don’t write reviews but this place was just too great to not brag about!! I loved every second I was there"

"The singer was amazing was the hilite of our evening. I came with 3 friends that have never been to Mastros- we ordered the shucked raw oysters to start I have never been to any restaurant that didn’t cut the oyster from the shell!!! We had to cut it with our knives pick the shells out of our mouths… horrible! It was like eating egg shells. I asked the server if this is normal (as it’s very strange) she said no- that’s not normal she’ll mention it to the chef… nothing was ever done or mentioned again to us. When we got the bill, we waited over 40minutes for anyone to come back to us… we finally waived down another server she started to process our bill. Our server finally came back apologized saying she got stuck downstairs (whatever that means). We ended up being there for almost 4hrs!!!! I’ve been to Mastros several times never had such bad service… sadly my friends won’t likely come back."

"Our server made our experience terrible. We felt awkward and we felt unsafe in the end despite trying to enjoy our food. (Long story short: our service was terrible, so we didn’t tip our server after dinner. Our server ran after us and intimidated us in the parking lot to leave him a tip. We sat outside and our utensils and table were very dusty. He made a passive aggressive remark when we asked for new utensils. Throughout dinner, we felt extremely rushed by him, for some reason, and his behaviour towards us was rude and condescending. We’re not sure why we were being treated this way, so we assume he was prejudiced in some way. We really did not appreciate his behaviour so we did not tip as we felt he ruined our experience, especially after we already spent lots of money on food. I understand that tipping is the norm, but the uncomfortable thing is that our server ran after us to our car and intimidated us in the parking lot saying we forgot to tip. He looked extremely agitated and was raising his voice at us, and if was dark out in the parking lot. We felt unsafe, so we tipped him to get him to leave us alone. I’ve never experienced anything like this before and I would never go back here. I understand it is rude to not leave a tip but it doesn’t warrant being chased and intimidated at a parking lot at night!"

"Had breakfast here 3 days in a row as a hotel guest. Overall the location and setting are very nice. The resort is very well maintained and looks great.The food is good as far as buffets go. The only issue is service, which was very inconsistent from day to day. If you get a good hostess and server, you should be pleased."

"This is our favorite Italian restaurant in Palm Desert. The short rib dinner is very delicious and tender. The waiter recommended the penne vodka pasta which was very good, also. "This is the best restaurant in all of Coachella Valley. Beautiful restaurant inside and the patio is amazing. The food is beyond exceptional, the service is top notch, they make you feel welcomed, happy, and the staff is so knowledgeable and friendly. Time between meals spaced well, I can go on and on If they have the Bronzino on special, make sure you get it. It’s to die for, but honestly, you won’t be disappointed in whatever you choose"

"Morton's last night was fabulous as always. We went to celebrate our anniversary. We had menus that said Happy Anniversary at the top which was a really thoughtful touch and everyone that worked there said Happy Anniversary to us. Our food was wonderful, cooked to perfection. I had lots to take home for the next day which is typical for me but great because I can enjoy it twice. We received a complementary dessert and chose the molten chocolate cake that had a wonderful presentation with a candle. Victor was our waiter and he doted on us. We felt very cared for. Everything Morton's did made the night feel extra special. The noise level was louder than usual but it was full so most likely why. I thought the music could have been turned down a bit because the noise from talking was drowning it out anyway. But it wasn't something we couldn't deal with and it didn't spoil the night in anyway. Especially since we were seated in a nice quiet booth along the wall. Those tables are my favorite and I always request one if available. Morton's is definitely our special occasion restaurant of choice but it's also our Happy Hour choice and our Take Out choice"

"Went for brunch which was advertised as lasting till 1:30 p.m. Once we arrived at 11:45 a.m. were told brunch was only available till 11:30 a.m. When we insisted (and showed) that their website said 1:30 they relented and let us order brunch. Unsatisfying experience. Food mediocre. Service OK but got one of our orders wrong. The bagels lox were delicious. The egg dishes much less so."

"This is the real deal the only top notch sushi in the Palm Springs area. I stumbled in by happenstance on a Wednesday night without a reservation and since I was dining alone I snagged the only individual seat at the bar. It's popular with locals and the way I noticed it was driving by at 5:00 there was a line of older people waiting to get in right when they opened the doors. Good sign. Service was a bit dictatorial probably because it was so busy and they had to keep things moving but the host (maybe wife and owner) was nice even though she was firm. She just had a ton of patrons to manage. I saw 5 10 parties get turned away since no resy for the short time I waited for my spot to clear. Sushi bar it took a while to eat since they were so busy. Chefs had their hands full. Also full menu is not available at the sushi bar. On to the sushi excellent fish. Right up there with best I've had at some of the high end sushi restaurants on either coast all in an unassuming old school atmosphere. Nothing fancy but yellowtail, tuna, aji, ikura, uni, mackerel, sweet shrimp were all wonderful. The uni was very special. I also loved my negihama roll. Oh expect to pay handsomely for what you get. Take out pork tonkatsu was good also especially after crisping it up in a toaster oven. Had a delicious hot mustard along with the sweet sauce. Don't go here if you're looking for a Philly cheese roll. There's another restaurant somewhere else for that kind of sushi. Go here for great nigiri and the old standbys."

"I have to admit, I wasn't sure what to expect. After reviewing the menu it all sounded good, but was the restaurant going to be too cliche? It wasn't! was disappointed that reservations couldn't be made, but our wait wasn't too long, and the food was worth it! The staff was friendly, and we ordered drinks and coconut shrimp right away. She quickly brought out bread, which is always really appreciated when we have our kiddos with us too. It was soft and fresh and the cinnamon butter was so good! Next came out the coconut shrimp appetizer with a really delicious mango chutney and a nice refreshing slaw. For dinner we ordered the Mahi Mahi with almond rice, and the Ribs with a bourbon bbq sauce both so damn good! I would dare to say it may be the best fish I've ever been served at a restaurant It was exquisitely prepared! The ribs were fall off the bone tender, and the sauce had such great depth of flavor with the bourbon. If I had to make off any pints at all, it'd be for my baja margarita; it was a bit too sweet and just didn't hit the spot for me, but I'll chalk that up to being my poor choice of beverage. Overall, such a great experience and really delicious food!"

"Wow, this place is great. We went here for lunch and liked it so much we came back for breakfast a few days later. The food quality was superb, and the portion sizes were good. Great value for your money. We love the service and the atmosphere. They played 50's and 50's music. I had a burger and had a tough time finishing it since it was a 1/2 pounder. But most come for the breakfast also great."

"We were promptly seated and were served by Oscar, who is EXCELLENT! We always have a nice time at Tommy Bahamas and this visit was great too. We had their specialty non-alcoholic cocktails which are delicious. We had the coconut shrimp and the jerk tacos. Pina Colada cake for dessert. With the special COVID rules in place, Tommy Bahamas are taking all of the precautions. Guests must wear masks entering and exiting the restaurant. All employees wore masks and gloves. The menus are disposable. Everything was spotless. I can't wait to go back!!"

"Check-in: We had reservation at 7pm, and we were there on time and were told to be seated in a minute. 30 minutes passed, still waiting while I saw at least 2 other parties came after us got seated already. Food: despite the wait for the main course to come, I ordered steak and lobster, and medium rare for the steak. Oh boy, the steak was dry and definitely not medium rare, way overcooked. My guess was it's been sitting for too long to be served. Overall the food was not bad but mediocre. Not worth it. Service: the server took the wine glasses from our table without asking if we would order any. its just fine, i ordered wine but she definitely forgot it. When I mentioned it again once our main course came, she then realized and apologized, and comped the wine. Understanding it's father's day weekend, things would get out of hand. But it would be just a let down as a customer not to receive the service we pay for. Atmosphere: overcrowded, it looked they just squishing every inch to fit a table for more customers. You feel way too close to your next table. And tiny walkway. Servers passed by holding full tray of stuff, if you better have strong heart , otherwise you may have anxiety attack."

"Both my wife and I ordered the Filets, and both were bland with almost no taste. It was so weird, as I have eaten at this Ruth's Chris before and the steaks were amazing! Not sure if it was the cut or the cow, but the meat was almost unconsumable. The staff was very understanding and did not charge us for the steaks, which was nice, but the point of our evening was to enjoy some top-notch steaks. I will not be returning to this location or any others and will take my business elsewhere. Again, the staff was great about not charging us for the steaks, and our waiter Mark was super great, just disappointed that we weren't able to actually enjoy a filet from an actual high-end steakhouse"

"It started off a bit strangely with the hostess’s confused ambivalent greeting. It almost seem like she didn’t know what to do with us. I suggested we sit in the bar for happy hour then move to the restaurant for our reservation. She agreed and all flowed much better from there. The Chilean sea bass was delicious. The filet was tender and the right temperature. The only point of disappointment was the charcuterie was too plain. Without interesting “pops” like dates, it looks like one from home. Bottom line: We loved our experience and said that we need to come here more often."
