"Memorable experience and not is a good way . . .For a place that seems popular and gets rave reviews it was a disappointing experience for our table as well as the one next to us. Gave it 2 stars as our food was good overall but there is a flaw in the booking/service/kitchen chain that needs attention. We checked in and were told of the 20-30 minute wait. This gave us time to review the menu so we were ready to order once seated. We opted to sit on the patio as the inside seamed overcrowded. Once seated the waitress quickly arrived to offer drinks at which time we place our whole order. I ordered the Vanilla cappuccino, mediocre gas station taste at best, but was confused as to why it was served in a milkshake glass instead of a coffee cup? After finishing our drinks we sat waiting . .and waiting . .The waitress stopped again to refill the lemonade and water but no other status was given. The table next to us that was seated prior to our arrival seemed to be in the same situation, drinks and no food. After waiting almost an hour at the table we were ready to get up and leave when our waitress appeared with our food. While quickly eating, It became obvious ours was not the only table to have problems judging from the conversations coming from the next table with their waitress followed by the drama and unbelievable actions of what we believed was the kitchen manager or head cook. It was unfortunate to witness this drama and complete lack of professional decorum from the employee. Hopefully this was an isolated incident. To the owner, You have a unique place that stands out. With a few key adjustments I'm confident these situations can be avoided in the future. Keeping customers informed on wait times or delays would have been greatly appreciated in this instance as well. Had we known how long it would be from check in to being served our food we would have opted to visit your establishment at a different time. Please consider implementing online/call in reservations, even for just a percentage of your space. We are willing to give Tifiny's one more try before writing them off completely on our go to places in St George. Hopefully next go round will have a marked improvement."

"Rated best top 5 places for affordable eats in St. George so of course we wanted to check em out. They are known for their large quantity of food for a decent price. My family and I visited on an aloha Friday in July. It was packed and warm inside, and with local Polys so I knew it’s legit. I was asking the guy working the register if they had Mochiko Chicken he said oh I wish. Lots of favs I miss from living in Oahu. But opted with their mini plate lunch of Teriyaki Chicken white rice Mac salad. I was eating like half my age but now I get so full. We all had their spam musubis. Rice is smothered in their sauce. My husband got the regular plate lunch Kalua Pig, Lau Lau, white rice and Mac salad. My keikis got their mini plate lunch chicken Katsu white rice Mac salad. Hawaiian Sun drinks all around. Followed by their 6 pack of Malasadas. After we paid, I realized I forgot two deals. I could’ve used as a local one being they have a coupon in the mail or showing the Dixie Energy card for a discount. So they were kind enough to give us a couple extra Malasadas at the end that was unexpected and super cool. Now that’s aloha spirit. All in all, after I lose a few pounds from eating here last I will come visit again ; Definitely affordable, lots of food, all was ono, local kine grinds like back in da islands, nice seeing da locals, and satisfying our HaYn cravings. Go! I totally recommend!"
