"Let me preface my review by saying I love this little place. It's local with a lot of character, and the food is good! I've been here before, and I keep coming back. This being said, management needs take time to train the staff on teamwork and expectations while on the job. We waited 50 minutes for our carry out order of 2 salads and 2 wraps with no other customers in the place. The two kids working the front just stood around while someone in the back supposedly prepared our food (and obviously needed assistance as we were told he was new). With no other orders, we should have had our food within a few minutes, not 50 minutes. At one point another customer did come in to get a frozen treat and stood waiting for someone to assist with getting her toppings. After about 10 minutes of her waiting, I asked the workers if they were still on the clock, and I pointed out the gal waiting for service. The one who had been counting money then promptly went to assist her... Without washing his hands. These are kids working. They need a manager to teach them to be team players and to not just stand around when things are slow. There is always something that could be cleaned, sanitized, straightened up, etc."
